I'm in a real pickle with this team. Just wish I had a better rank to show for it. But I actually have 2 trades left and nowhere to really use them. As it stands, Schuster, TKO and Capewell can't make my starting squad this week. Content with all positions.

Any outsider must-have you'd have to have in your team this week that might not be obvious?

Tense weekend coming up for sure, and now made even more so as I’ve been called in to get knee surgery tomorrow morning. So I won’t be able to run out of the room every time my players do something dumb like normal! Haha

Teeth, do you have guys like Papy/Garrick etc….? If you were going to trade anyone into an already good team make it one of those guys that could go 80 quite easily on their day, as a really good day could be 100

All of League 1 would agree the only reason we didn't win it (for I think the 3rd season in a row) is because someone with Mad Cow disease died.

agreed. I have to play stilit or iremia because of no pap. I'm thinking iremia because i can see stiliti missing tonnes of tackles on the raiders. Nice to have Angus back, hoping holding him makes a good VC POD

I'm in the same boat, with Lussick, Schuster, Blore, Capewell and Walsh all outside of my top 17.  A bit like LB in the fantasy thread, I've spread myself a bit thin rather than maxxing the best 17 scorers and held on to some decent but not great scorers for too long (what's the opposite of recency bias, when you preference fantasy guns who no longer have it anymore?).

Looking at my team, I could probably improve most improve at CTR by bringing in Aitken or Hynes or Garrick (over one of Bird, Peachey, Talakai, Capewell), so that's what I'm thinking.

Fucking Garrick. Brought him into my Fantasy team in GF last week as a last ditch effort for the win. I'm sure you can guess how that turned out. H'e now my enemy and I hate saying he's on my never again list as he was never on my list until a couple of hours before kick off. But just too risky mucking around with a winger, unless his name starts with T and ends with o and it has a ' in it.

I did bring in Aitken a few weeks ago, though, and would be going with him. Modest score last week, but I still think he's a winner in the CTR position.

Pisses me off RB I used to think you never know individual circumstances and what happens in peoples lives and would give team abandoners another chance. I was a glass half full type of guy. Now im older, a pessimist and hate humans in general i just punt them, there is generallly someone keen albeit risky to fill the void. As NW said our 4 leagues are generally blends of the same members, some have been part of the community for 10 years, you know those guys will dig in to the end even if they have a shocking year. It just takes one coach to piss off 17 other blokes. That bloke this year was @No Worries who tried to sabotage my league by coming last

I'll cop that. I had a shocker this year across all formats and platforms but I didn't throw in the towel. I did my shittest best till the end.
