    891 from me

    Copped Bird's 6 and Lodge's 12
When Watson got benched I named Riki's 10 in my reserves and put watson's 34 into NPR.

Probably Lodge to Ofahangaue - no other obvious trades that fit available cash, but will see what else TLT throws up and what options there are

Congrats to DTTragic2016 and Code Delta on massive starts to the season. I was really stoked with how I started, but it obviously wasn't quite as good as these chaps.

I have a couple of things to address, but probably only going to do the typical Lodge > Ofahangaue too. I will also possibly think about maybe dumping Holmes if something sexy pops up.

Copped enough of the shit scores to start the season with 839. Leagues finishing 1,2,3 and equal 4 isn't a bad start. Have a look at the blokes team who took out the round with 1052. Deadset kissed on the dick, avoided every trap> i think it has every player lone scout listed in team of the round>

Anyone want to talk me out of ditching Crichton in this comp?
And if I do ditch him are there better trade in targets than Lindsay Collins and Joseph Tapine?

Will have made a round of profit from others to get Crichton back in before his price changes when he comes back, and I think Collins/Tapine have mostly sustainable price rises in them

Just had a look at the guy coming first. He has 9 red dots this week. Killed it as a one off but he is not a long term threat for the title.
Pretty much the same for the guy in 2nd. Those 2 are only really at the top because they have Mahoney, they'll drop off if he doesn't sustain those scores.

Guy coming 3rd has a much better team

I'm no expert but I can only say I definitely wouldn't do it... BUT, I see your logic and if you're entirely comfortable with your team and the amount of trades you have and you're confident it'll all work out, why the heck not?

I guess this pretty purely relates back to the comment I've seen thrown about on this forum before, and that is what the dollar value of a trade (or two?) is, and if it's worth it? And you're also trusting that no other issue in your team will arise in the next couple of weeks, and that you can neatly bring back Crichton without other concern. But like I said... I do see your logic, and one must go with their gut, I always feel.

I would be curious as to the make-up of your 2RF bench out of curiosity.

I did a similar thing last year, trading Cleary for Turpin after Cleary got a 2 week suspension during shutdown.

Then bloody Turpin got injured the week after I traded him in which stuffed everything up.
That would be the biggest problem. If Collins/Tapine/whoever comes inputs up a single figure score in the next 2 weeks.

Oddly enough, I actually kind of remember that.

But it's real. One cannot dismiss the best-laid plans factor.

I will be very interested to see if you do proceed with this ballsy plan.

Its a bold strategy but I like it.

    Sportsdeck VSDT 2021 Part 1 - Page 4 Giphy

I often end up with more trades than I need at the end of the season in this comp (not sure what the difference is, perhaps it's the ability to wait an extra couple of weeks before grabbing a cash cow). The key thing for me in the first two weeks is to maximise the opportunity we get with a free look at the whole comp before price rises.

So Collins and Tapine are definitely valid options for a big price rise. Given their prices I wonder if some of the lower priced cash cows might make more money in the short term though. But I say that without having looked at BEs, projected price rises etc. I'll sign up for the Assistant Coach product in this format tonight I think.

I'm looking at Davey and LAM fwiw, who I can afford by trading out Lodge and Gosi.

Trading out a keeper who's only going to miss one game is a bold move, but your plan might pay off. I wouldn't do it myself, but that's probably a good reason for you to give it a try.

I made the trade, and I also have Matterson, so I guess I can swap Matterson back to Crichton next week.

Anyone considering getting in Mahoney after another monster game for quick cash?
