I don't know how the mechanics of this forum works, but 50 pages to turn over the forumis very few.
We started part 3 last Friday. Come team list Wednesday we will go through 50 pages in a day or 2, this will create constant work for whoever locks and creates new threads, plus Bren will be constantly looking for a new girly of the week or whatever he calls it.
Is there any way of changing this?

Sadly i dont have the ability to change the thread after 50 pages. However if the thread is moving fast enough, it will automatically lock itself and move over. (Also posts the new link at the bottom of the last post.)

Regarding Brens hot girl of the week. He does have a whole thread for that.

Edit: I will look into it tonight after work though.

One thing we can do is move all the Rate My Team posts into another thread, and leave this one for general fantasy discussion. Should slow down the churn a bit.

But locking and switching threads is not a problem over here. On sportal most people couldn't even start a thread, and there were hardly any mods around to do the locking when we wanted it.
Over here, there are quite a few mods, and most of us are online a lot - so starting new threads is easy.

Any important stuff that used to be on the first page of each thread will get put up in a sticky up the top of the forum so it should be easier to find, and cut out the need for some of us to claim the first few posts of each thread.

I think if in general people actually post in threads other than fantasy it would slow down also. If Pearce fucks a dog talk about it in the doggy fuckers thread.

I had a depressing number of those players in my fantasy teams last year. A costly reminder that sometimes those fallen 'guns' don't bounce back.

Those players are more guys who were guns the year prior but underperformed last year, not guns who didn't bounce back, this would be the year they didn't bounce back if they didn't match their 2014 avgs

I meant more when you buy a guy during the season because his price bottoms out, and then they still don't come good. Plenty of those guys are capable of delivering again this year though.

definitely agree in that regard mate, I'm taking a punt on a few of those, Mansour is my bet to get back to GUN status injury affected him last year, he will get plenty of base points from RM and is a TB beast, worse case he stays where he is points wise and I have to waste a trade upgrading him

Well you know he'll leave everything out on the pitch - but might find himself caught short back in the NRL
