Mate I been meaning to ask you, do you reckon the Dearden to Cows talk is true and that he will be released in the next couple of weeks?

Kerr doesn't play big minutes, even when starting prop. If Poasa gets relegated to the bench, but gets the other 40 minutes from Kerr, its fineRabbits21 wrote:
Can’t start with him now. I’m not so sure what’s gonna happen with Gosie and Davey yet either and how that’ll play out. There is talk from Manly fans Schuster could play some second row off the bench as well.
Then you have the Dragons how long does Kerr last on an edge.... it means if you pick Poasa or Alvaro their job security and mins could change week to week.
Maybe Waddell is a good option, but then playing RFM for them to me on an edge when he’s back makes more sense. I can see the Dogs chopping and changing as well....
It makes it a bit hard to pick fantasy players so I think I’m gonna have to take a risk somewhere as will others as well....

Rabbits21 wrote:Arrow I think his partner works a lot in Sydney so it suited him to move down here. Also coming to the Pride of the League who are more of a powerhouse club than the Titans helped lure him down as well as Bennett and Demetriou of course. Arrow is close to both these guys.

Dont think theres any chance of him being released this year but he has toured the cows and theyve offered him a deal for his next contract.
He has said he wants to stay but who knows tbh. First month or two of the broncos season will probably decide a lot of futures..
Dont really understand why they let clifford sign elsewhere to then go after dearden. Seem like similar players but clifford further ahead in development.

I have Laurie in the 21 slot. But TLT will be when I fine tune the backline and will run Laurie if Mbye gets 14, but I am not expecting that.
There is an article where Mbye is talking about him being used as a utility and how important that role is. nrl.com are now saying Mbye has a hamstring issue and may not play round 1.easytiger wrote:
IMO TLT won't reveal much.
I'm tipping they'll name MBye at Fullback, but will give Laurie a run at 5/8 with Doueihi there the following week.
Maybe I've missed it, but I'm still yet to hear any suggestions out of the Tiger's that Mbye would/could be used as a utility - it just seems a popular fan idea at the moment (I like the idea too FWIW - but it doesn't make it a reality)

Do you have a link?
Mbye missed the trial due to the hamstring injury - the sort of injury that seems to have a high incidence of reoccurring.
I might just roll with Laurie whatever happens - class wins out

He scored just five tries, had three try assists and eight line breaks and while his value to the team goes beyond statistics, Tuivasa-Sheck is honest about not being as much of a threat as he wanted to last year.
He doesn’t blame team-mates for not giving him enough attacking opportunities, but says the fault lies with him.
“That’s down to myself, not adapting to the way the game was changing,” Tuivasa-Sheck said.
“Everything now is through the middle, it’s fast, it’s quicker and I need to adapt.
“That’s going to be where my space is, through the middle of the park and coming off offloads or line breaks, finishing line breaks. Whereas I’ve been standing too far away from the shape play and I miss those opportunities.
“So my big focus this year will be around that free flowing footy and not standing and waiting for a shape to be played out to me.
“[I want to] play more with the ball in hand, taking the ball over the advantage (line) and running first,” he added.
“Just playing where I can play and not constantly be behind block plays and not chasing shape.”
Over the season Tuivasa-Sheck will be inundated with questions from the media about his switch to rugby, while there will also be calls for the team to ‘do it for Roger’ this year.
But the club’s captain says there hasn’t been any talk about that so far.
“It’s been a good thing, we haven’t had it in any of our conversations, about it being my last year and doing it for RTS or anything,” he said.
“This is a new group, there are new staff here and we’re excited about 2021.
“It’s not going to be like it was in 2020, when everything was all over the place. We’re more set, we know what’s coming and we’re ready to go.”
He’d never use it as an excuse, but one reason why Tuivasa-Sheck wasn’t at his best last year was because he spent the entire season away from his young family. This year though, his partner Ashley Walker and their two children are with him in Australia and a happy player is a good player.
“It feels good having my partner and my kids here,” he said.
“It brings a bit more purpose to my day and on my days off I can go home and do all of my daddy duties and get ready for training as well.
“Last year, I was pretty much just hanging around and trying to see what the Central Coast is all about. But now I can continue to have balance in my day.”
