What bothers me the most about my team so far is that my lowest owned player (NAS) was also my worst performing. I really thought he'd do much better than the 32 points....

Someone will pop up for Lodge. I have Host too!
Yeah I have Host Avo and Riki as well. Not too worried about them and they’re fairly popular anyway. Host reminds me of Sua from last year. Played 60 odd and scored in the 20s as he lacked involvement first game. Then built into it and played 80 often and hit a 40ish average

Milch reminds me more of maybe Des Hasler, with all the weird stats he has.
I'm certainly not going to play Taupau for more minutes just to benefit your fantasy team

Thinking of moving L Lam out and bringing Egan in. These middle hookers are doing well. Any thoughts on that?

If you take the best WFB scorer by at least 100 points out of your team for a player who might be 4-5th best WFB just to pre-emptively replace a 390k player who got injured, who will be easily replaced by stefano/fui at a mimimum with better cows likely to pop up in the remaining 5 games then you are nothing short of a genius.

Yeah, certainly if I had dubious selections remaining to play like midrangers such as Welch/NAS/BS9, Turpin, even the Milf or ironically Lodge, then I'd consider trading them down to a cheapie because the midrangers have just as many doubts as the cheapies do. I've only got my carefully selected guns, a couple of cheapies and a couple of selections I quite like remaining, makes no sense to trade them out when a replacement for Lodge will pop up. Even if one doesn't, I'll trade to a better cheapie and run without mid cover for a week.

I wonder with the Lodge injury whether Haas will even play lower mins when he finishes suspension
They won't wont to rush Lodge back as hamstrings have high re-injury rates

Exactly. My current mitigating strategy is Moylan to Fui. If Stefano goes alright and nobody pops up in the remaining games I can always go Lodge --> Stefano and have at least mid cover in Fui and Stefano

Some other great tries in there too

I see a lot of Bellamy in myself....no patience, swearing, ranting & raving when things don't go to plan & threatening behaviour but if you ignore that I'm a good guy. Really it's a cry for attention

True but they are the dominant halves pairing I just can't see that happening especially now that Keary has moved into the 7 jersey.

Good post. I'll be doing the same. Might mean I have to play Avo or Niu at 17, but I don't think that's world ending.

Do we think Hoy benefits from the Mann injury? Can see him slotting in there when Ponga returns so his game time looks to be extended

Green is due back before Ponga. Might give Hoy a bench spot and his 14 average from last seasonShadowSabre wrote:Do we think Hoy benefits from the Mann injury? Can see him slotting in there when Ponga returns so his game time looks to be extended

I did try to put something together but ultimately we were too far apart in value that I wasn't going to find anything that would tempt you so didn't come back to you sorry. I rate Cotric (I have him in my other draft and fantasy) but I'm not pulling my team apart to get him. More than happy with the current team was just hoping to boost it by grabbing players others might have undervalued. You didn'tHoneysett wrote:
I'm glad you didn't respond to my PM and try and put a deal together around Cotric

Avo had a couple of near TAs
I don't have him, but he should score ok for a Ctr

Did....did you just associate Stick with Welshy? Mods, I'd like to report a disgusting hate crime.easytiger wrote:
You could be the Ricky Stuart - no time for sooks (looking at you Latrell), happy to back an off-the-boil player with a second chance (Milford last year), and don't take shit from the media or silly statements (e.g. someone saying JBrailey is a bad buy) - of course the associations with the other Rugby helps too
