813 with Roberts and Laurie to go. Will settle for 850 and another below par start to a season

773 with Tapine, Bird, Roberts, Laurie and Liddle to play.
Lodge, Riki and Lam the only real disappointments.

And DCE Brimson Cook with Verills looming too. Juicy!

Lucky 1st round - no fires to put out beyond LCroker, which is the opposite of an emergency.
A dullgency? Boreaclysm? Shitefall?
Yeah, one of those. Still no rush - fucker has bug all cash to lose
I'm in a similar boat, had Croker at 17 Leniu 18 so can easily swap those two, my only concern is whether I want to trade Croker to someone like Utoikamanu if he goes well tomorrow or not
I kinda enjoy the schadenfreude of missing all the carnage while everyone else is in panic stations ngl

Interesting presser with Todd Payten there. Partly wanting to preserve Lolo, but more about keeping him accountable, which in turn makes the young blokes more accountable. Probably deserves the benefit of the doubt for now I'd say from my arm chair.

Leniu v LAM the topic of the week for Lodge trade
Surely you go Leniu? Cheaper, and seems more likely to score his own try at some point. Though LAM will have quick cash generation off the bat with his try

Not totally unhappy with DCE he did well after that first half

if the goal getting impact back in Lolo's game, i don't see how 25 at the start and finish achieves that any more than 30 at start and finish does. I think the better bet is to keep the minutes but break him in smaller shifts, say off at 20, back on at 30, off at 50, back on at 60, then for all intents and purposes, there are 4 periods where he's "fresh" to rip in, of course you'd have to get creative with the interchange with the optics that your spending half of them on one player, but no reason you can't work it into the normal rotation of the blokes around him.

Does if Martin plays middle.
Haha. I think you heard what you wanted to hear. Capewell & Kikau aren't particularly durable, so it makes no sense to assume that Capewell is locked into 80 mins on the edge week after week. It'll happen sometimes, probably whenever Martin is needed to cover some middle mins if someone else goes down.
Anyway I'm 860 with Liddle & Roberts left, ~940 would be nice (Liddle 45, Roberts 35). Going to be more interested in NPRs Laurie, Utoi & Simonsson.

NAS, Lodge, Riki, Brimson, Momo, Lam are all my sub 40 guys in the starting 17. Laurie and Roberts could well add to that

Yeah, sounds like he was willing to sacrifice short term pain for long term gain. Now to see if they can do what is expected of them from Payten and see if it can generate results

Rocks and diamonds so far. Will end up with a reasonable score, but half the team has been underwhelming. Not sure whether to chase some of this week's points or give the plodders another chance.

My sub 40s are Lodge, Riki, Host, Avo, Hoy and Lam, and out of those only Lodge is an urgent sell, though Host and Riki are on notice too.

Lodge the main concern. Hopefully Riki and Lam come good. Croker and Jetski outside the 17, I'd also prefer if they were outside my 21.

Yeah still need to deal with Lodge though, I'll probably be shopping for a 2RF to fill in for Riki in the starting 17. I'm happy to keep Riki in the EMG.
