I’ll be looking at Lodge to Leniu because he’s cheap and has already shown some talent, leaves 190k in the bank

Everyone feels so wait and see this early in the season. Trading in new cheapies this week and hoping they stay nailed on seems naive, but what do I know.

Momirovski once scored 7 points in 80 minutes at centre last year. He could still work out to have a high average in a good attacking side like Penrith but just keep in mind like any other centre, he's prone to having quiet games and that he may not end up being a huge upgrade over your current CTR's.
Lomax just wouldn't stop scoring 40's last year much to my great annoyance but he is the exception not the rule with pure centres.
Oh yeah 100%. That 7 did scare me off a bit originally but I’m optimistic he can find his feet a bit more at Penrith. He looked threatening on the weekend and went close a few times. Don’t think it’ll take long for him to get going.
It’s a big risk and I’ll probably regret it in a few weeks but it’s a very high consideration

Meaning SST will play how many minutes?
Nostradamus is still working on it I believe
On the one hand, with a half, JWH and two unknowns on the bench SST should get big minutes. On the other hand, if the game's out of sight then the unknowns might get quite a bit of time.

I need a 17 scorer with Lodge dead. Ofa looks the only appealing option under 471k unless I commit to Leniu as a scorer week in week out. Don't think I can afford to bank on a miscellaneous player under 471k popping up after this round

Lodge and Averillo to Leniu and Koala sideways? Leaves Roberts and Niu as my CTRs

Any cover for centre after that?

Would anyone advocate dumping RSmith for a Townswend/Milford/Ofa type and benching Lam?

Looking like Dom Young is the backup for best if he doesn’t play, not named for nsw cup I could be wrong but looks like he might be first in line for an injury

I am looking at bringing him in. Did he pass his HIA, as he didnt come back.Camo123 wrote:Do we think BSiro would have played more mins if no failed HIA?
Very tempting option with middle/edge hybrid role

Looks like he failed based off both MTB site and Warriors team list article:
Hooker Wayde Egan and second rower Bayley Sironen have been named but face further tests under the head injury protocols.

My biggest issue this week is that without Crichton and Cleary, I'm not sure who to captain. The main candidates are:
Fogarty
Teddy
Papy
Teddy and Papy big ceilings, Teddy slightly more consistent than Papy. Fogarty is likely most consistent with a 63 last week in almost entirely base. Leaning Fog for "guaranteed" 50+.

Remember when it was Monday and everyone was getting Leniu
Sironen
Davey
Koala
My fave post catching up was the one worried about Host coming right back in.

Teddy against Tigers out of that lot would be my pick.

Can he actually play, I think it's cutting it fine usually 6 days of protocols with 6 stage protocol for failed HIA

The FOG imo.
