I reckon the people in the bunker are instructed to give a no try to anything that people might get overly upset about. Although there are probably numerous examples to counter this assertion.

Yep, he's up from looking bad to average, so that's a huge improvement. His defence has always been ok so should make money if you have him.

I know I'm a Knights fan so take this with a grain of salt.

I think their reason behind the no try is the ball shifts and you can't use the ground to control the ball. Because it shifts the assumption is there's got to be some separation, although I don't think there was enough evidence to overturn that decision. Justice served probably the next couple tackles.

NZ commentators arguing it must have been a professional foul. Offside marker stopped a try.
