Ran with Pearce last year and he's great when he's getting those massive kick metres. He does have 30's in him though. I think rounds 1 and 2 have just been wet weather slogs though both sides have completed pretty well, so he has had huge KM's both games. I don't think anything is really different with his game although being partnered with Mann (who got injured) and then Crossland has probably helped with KMs.

    Agreed.
I also think the addition of Frizell has added a lot to the Knights effectiveness.
Barnett has also improved, both edges hitting hard and running hard = Pearce has more time to do his thing.
The Saf brothers have also picked up their tackle and run metres.
As a Knights tragic, it's looking better this year already - now we just have to make sure the boys don't do the mid-season crash like last year.

Twal and Ogden to Jackson and Alvaro + 80k

Depending on Team lists i might trade Schuster and bank more cash

NAS is on the chopping block as he just isn't getting the minutes and looks gassed way too early for my liking. Davey was a risk, and the poor lad seems to be broken for the season so he's out as well.
I can get Alvaro (who I would have picked up if I didn't go for Davey's Edge cover) for cash generating and a sub-gun who appears to have made the leap to gun level average.

    Some opinions would be appreciated:
    Collins at $569k OR
    I.Papali'i at $575k

Which one do you gents (and ladies) like the look of going forward?
Collins seems to have cemented the big minute starting middle role at the Chooks, and Papali'i is dynamite as a bench impact middle at the Eels.

Collins- benefitted from some attacking stats but solid base. I think a realistic floor for him is 40 odd

Pap- he's looking a lot more involved with Parra and looking fitter too. But looking at his stats, unsure what his average is. Big difference between RMs and Tackles

In the long term I think Collins could be up and down. He'll play Origin and Robbo notably plays around with his forwards minutes across the season to manage their workloads. However to start the season he's playing big minutes and no reason to see that changing in the short term.

Papali'i is going good but his previous season average as a interchange player with good minutes is closer to the 40's range. He might not be able to keep up the 50+'s.

899 for round 2 which seemed like unders & showed in the ranks.

On the chopping block are probably Davey, Tino, and Lam.

What is the consensus there, are Tino & Lam trades or worth another week?

Haven't left myself many options for a Davey replacement with 1k bank so hoping someone pops up tomorrow. Ideal situation would be something like Davey & Tino to Schuster & Jackson/Collins/Tupoinia.

If Cade Cust got onto the first grade bench on the basis of a hattrick in NSW Cup, Jake Simpkin scored 2 tries and 99 fantasy points yesterday.

In reality, surely a chance for 14 with Mbye playing centre over BJ?

I don't have Tino but you have to imagine there's better value to be had elsewhere.

I have Lam and I'm on the fence. Keary has dominated the attack but they've also played two sub-par teams where try after try has come on the right edge. Maybe a more even match against Souths could be a better indicator of how Lam performs in the team. 30's are just acceptable enough for me to not consider trading out an uninjured player too.

Well apparently Mbye trained exclusively at fullback in off-season. So playing five-eighth, bench hooker and then centre in the first few 3 weeks would be the obvious course of action.

But Tigers probably need to change something because they haven't looked very good so far this year

I didn't see the game, but if Roberts is back, then Leilua could be dropped, with Talau staying in the centres?

I wouldn't be buying Jackson because Luke Thompson is to come back and he'll definitely affect the forward rotation.

Jackson is performing well and could keep the big minute Lock role but something is going to change.

Given his starting price, was anyone other than MattNZ keen on Staines? and I think even Matt passed on Staines in favour of To'o
