It is mentioned around half way in this video that Croft trained on the right this week and Riki seems to confirm that.

Not ideal for Milf KM's but maybe that is sitll up in the air

Broncos really strike me as a team who are only 1 convincing win away from a world of confidence and stringing together a few wins. Their confidence is so shot at the moment I feel like if they can get a win, something in them will change and they will find that confidence, that belief they need to win some games.

Fingers crossed then that when we jag that first win in about 2025, we get on a massive roll....

Nah despite the lack of results, I'm actually pretty happy with their efforts after the first two rounds.

I thought their execution and cohesiveness is still off (but should build with time), but I genuinely thought the enthusiasm across most of their team is much improved on last year. Aside from a horror 8 minute period to end the first half, they generally stayed in the fight - that's something that with their inexperience last year seemed to wane very quickly.

At the moment I'd be more confident if I was a Broncos fan than I am as a Tigers fan (which is more just a state of illogical hopefulness).

Panthers confirmed Koro's surgery on his wrist fracture and aiming for a round 8 return.

Doing a quick Google, this seems consistent with a general 6 week minimum return (6 weeks seems the minimum time for bones to knit) - so seems almost impossible that he could do a fast turnaround like last year.

That means Kenny should get Rounds 3-7 (5 weeks) at a minimum, possibly longer - and should be enough time to make some reasonable coin for any takers.

I was listening to one of Denan Kemps Podcast episodes yesterday and he made a really good point about Milford. Pretty much long story short (and what my dishevelled brain can remember) yes Milford is on the big bucks, yes Milford “on his day” is an incredible player; however, over the past 2-3 years the Broncos have really tried to make Milford their main man. Main Man in the sense of Milford controls the game, Milford receives first ball 90% of the time and Denan used a really good analogy – If you think of the set play as a spear, Broncos keep trying to make Milford the handle, so to speak, but Milford is the tip of the spear. Broncos need him to be ending those plays or being 2nd or 3rd off the ruck, out wide, keeping the opposition second rower and half guessing will he run, will he kick, will he pass out wide, will he pass inside. Think back to 2015 (arguably Milford’s best year) when they made the GF, Broncos had McCullough at 9, Hunt at 7, Boyd at 1… all players who can control the team, aren’t needed to make lots of runs and all really complementing Milford’s game allowing him to be that tip of the spear player. Milford needs to be the glove and not the hand in the glove – and this is where they need Turpin, Croft, Dearden to step up, start taking control of the game and just allow Milford to swing around, play all over the park.

TL;DR – Denan Kemp/Bloke In A Bar made some good points about Milford and how the Broncos have changed his game to be the spear handle rather than the spear tip.

    Welcome

Nice to have you on board!

So at the moment you are set up to get Simonsson's score above Uto's. Niu will fill for Pappy, Schuster will fill for Cleary.

Meaning your 18, 19 (Sims, Leniu) are being played.

Unless you loop, and switch Averillo in for Schuster once Cleary/Paps play etc.

I wouldn't be trading, and would just adjust my bench to have the forwards play.

Oh, and I love Cook in reserves!

I wonder what would have happened if Turpin had been given that try in round 1 and they'd gone on to beat the eels.
would they have put on a better show against Titans too?

Who knows... confidence is huge, especially for a team on the verge of a 15 game losing streak. With a bit of confidence teams can start completing sets, holding the ball, sticking tackles.

Hey mate... just a heads up if you wanna loop you can swap Lam and Cleary, chuck Stefano at 18 and put go 19. Croker 20. Lam

Check out Crokers game Friday arvo... if he goes 40+ leave him at 19 and he will go in for Cleary, if he goes below 35 then you can swap Lam with Stefano quickly before the Roosters game and hope he beats 35???
