Yeah have 4 new red dots this week, so Tapine has to go. Was an eventual trade out anyway if only getting 40 minutes.Papadontbleach wrote:
I don’t think we’ll all agree. We lost, Warriors won. Onto next week.
Are you trading out Tapine? I’m leaning towards it depending on injury. He’s not the right kind of POD if scoring zero. Might try to bank some cash to go to Haas next week.

Apologies. If he runs out at FB I think he will be wider in the attacking line and RECIEVING the kicks from Cleary rather than Luai/Cleary spreading it to him to kick

You not worried about James getting same minutes if he slips directly into Tapine role mate?mattnz wrote:

It may not be FB but, he is likely to be somewhere in the team. Let see what TLT brings. You would be mad not to take advantage of his boot if he was playing.

Thinking of doing the same. Leaves no CTR cover though which feels risky.
Yeah it leaves me wit no CTR cover too but I might do it anyway cos CTRs are shit and cover is overrated

Egan could be a cheap keeper/just under keeper. But SOS will free up cash, plus give you cash gen over 10-12 weeks (probably peaks through the byes)
Yeah it’s really a cash question. Though if Egan does become a keeper that’ll save a trade out as well. Squad depth is also a factor
My current halves: Cleary Munster Schuster Croker
My current hookers: Brailey Turpin Watson Croker Liddle
Actually I could go... Liddle/Croker out (both near peak if they just keep averaging 30) and get both Egan/SOS. Leave Walker for next week. Would only leave 94k remaining
Or just get Walker this week, and decide between Egan/SOS. Going with Egan leaves 210k and SOS leaves 370k for a big upgrade somewhere soon

He was already getting the same minutes and averaging 54. If he can continue scoring 50 average, he is a bargain at that price point and playable in your 17.Welshy wrote:

I've spared enough bank to go to Cleary this week. Was thinking of doing 2 trades again which sucks (down to 28 now, really need to stop). So Munster -> Cleary and Davey -> Walker. Any suggestions always really appreciated, let me know if these are the right trades or not. Cheers lads!!
Current team:
Brailey
Welch, Angus, Watson
Fifi, Riki
Moses Cleary
Averillo Roberts
Papi Teddy Laurie
Schuster, Liddle, Alvaro, Lussick
Uto, Niu, Simonsson, Walker
252k ITB.

Personally don’t think he’s going to continue averaging 54 in 40 minutes. Not long term, even 50 is a reach unless he scores every week. When he hit 11 tries for Titans he’s was playing almost 80 minutes a games so double the amount of time on the field.mattnz wrote:

Looking for 42 min average at 1.2 ppm for 50 points. Seems reasonable based on what we have seen so far. For Tapine at his price point I was looking for 60 average, but wasn't possible long term with 40 minutes a gameWelshy wrote:

It’s forward of the hands. BMMs reaction said it all, didn’t expect try to be given
I don’t get the “forward out of the hands” argument. That only works if you’re exactly facing straight on to the goal line when you pass it.
Eg: If you have your back turned and offload backwards it is “forward out of the hands”. If you’re running cross field to put a runner in a hole, it comes “forward out of the hands” quite often. Each of these are legitimate passes.
The momentum rule is the only one that makes any sense to me.
