In a similiar situation to you. Not sure if I should upgrade Avo to Momo or keep the cash to upgrade my cows to players like Moses/Matterson/Macca in a few weeks time.

Currently, I'm playing Niu and Roberts as my CTRs with Avo as backup. I'm thinking Niu is gonna have a rough patch with the teams Broncos are facing so playing Momo over him might improve my scores by about 20 points every week. Niu as WFB/CTR cover also lets me look at getting rid of Simo down the line.

Have the same centres as you. Feels a waste to trade out a healthy centre in Averillo. Agree with Rapture_NRL that most positions need to be either making money or putting out keeper scores, but a third thing to consider is the coverage Averillo provides. Most centres aren't going to be making a whole lot of cash so I think I'm happy sitting him in EMGs until I'm ready to upgrade to someone putting up keeper scores. For me centre is the last position that will be getting upgraded.

I don't know your team lineup, but Momo and Roberts is solid with Niu covering CTR/WFB. Niu has been gold for me so far, covering all my injuries and suspensions. Really don't want to waste trades in my starting backs. But for you, Avo is terrible. You only have 21 players to either hold as keepers, or generate cash. If they're not keeper, and they're not generating money, they're wasting time
Exactly mate, I feel I can hold Simo but not him and Avo on top of that!

What are people’s thoughts on Opacic? Looks to have solid base and hasn’t scored a try yet!?....

Good point. Personally I think having Niu in Cover, earning better money and giving better scores, with Momo going 25-55 is better than having to play Niu and having Avo being an absolute spud.

But you're right. CTRs last in the order of fixing. I'm fortunate to have no backline issues... just the rest of my team

I really need to save trades soon though but it’s just been constant issues, Lodge, Davey, Host Lam, now Avo doing fuck all and L. Croker time is nearly up, he did make around 55k though which is better than none so I guess I should appreciate that!

Gutted I went Roberts over him. Feel he'll be the not falsh but playable CTR season long. 60k under.

But, I would only trade if that was my only issue

I think next week is probably last week you wanna be double trading at the latest. For me, have to double trade for Cleary, then next week need to get cash generation and a decent Mid. Barring injury I'll be sweet

Yeah I'm probably 50-50 about doing the trade myself. It feels like a decent enough upgrade and a bit of cash gen too but trading healthy centres is against my religion.

May not have a choice soon Avo could be dropped and also he’s making zero money like Simonsson.

Opacic and Momo also play round 13.

Lam > Sam feels good. Good bank. Not Behd Good Size. Probably won't make any Other trades and just keep it to the one trade two weeks in a row now. Two trades banked this early will come in handy down the stretch and over origin.

You can't have 17 starters for both bye rounds though. My thinking is; if I'm going to have a gap for one of the bye rounds, then it may as well be at centre.

I think even if Avo got dropped then I would hold him until I had a need for cover.

I think he has a bit more in him.

    Coach projections estimate

    R4 BE 13, expected score 29, increase $18K
    R5 BE 16, expected score 31, increase $12K

I’ll hold him for this week and then reassess.
