If Alvaro spuds it up the following 1-2 weeks I’ll just straight swap to Opacic etc so I have CTR/WFB cover with Niu. Liking the way my team is looking at the moment

    Fifita Riki
    Cleary Schuster
    Roberts Niu
    Teddy Papy Laurie

What do we think Cleary averages going forward?

    TU: 65-75
    TD: 75+

I’ve been trying to take my fantasy less seriously anyway. I can’t imagine a more fun move.
In his favour is the upcoming draw (cue the naysayers about matchups): Tigers, Dragons, Broncos, Bulldogs all in the next 5 weeks.

Let’s take a swing at the Marata piñata

Somehow out of nowhere, you guys have nearly convinced me to consider this now lmao

I feel like if I was in your position I'd swap out Simonsson or Averillo for maybe an Opacic. Could be a bit of a waste, but you guys have such insane teams I feel like it's probably worthwhile.

Lol, wouldn't say my team is insane. I understand this thinking but I just can't justify spending almost 400K for a Opacic or Momo. I don't know.

    You - Milf, Stefan, Simonsson
    Me - Croker, Moylan, Lam.

My plan this stage (228k itb) is Lam and Averillo to Walker and gun centre. Leaning toward Momirovski at present, possibly Peachey.

Looking at your side, I’d go Averillo and Simonsson out for Lam and your choice of centre

Thanks Chucky. Those trades actually seem good. I just hate to use my kitty I'm saving for Haas on a centre.

I'm thinking something silly like Avo to Walker and Liddle to Peachey. I'm warming to Peachey now after what I was saying six hours ago lol. I get an extra scorer for this week then Niu becomes EMG again and centre cover next week or run him and Peachey can run in the 14-17. Would only cost me 120K too.

Fully expecting Radley to shine for us this year. Not sure how many minutes he plays this week but I think he is going to play a pivotal role in taking the pressure off of Walker.

I have the same back 3 as you and not sure how to get cash for upgrades, thinking of doing something stupid in a few weeks and go rts to turbo and pocket hopefully 200k. This should help to get the likes of matterson and moses. If turbo goes down I'm fucked tho, so a big risk
Ooh, interesting. Will try to make note of that so I can consider it myself when it roles around, cheers.

Teeth Eater wrote:So I think I've decided I'm going to hold Averillo and play once centre this week.

The question is, do I leave Averillo there gathering dust, or do I jump straight onto Walker this week to get right in on that action? Then just go without CTR cover from next week until I need it? If Averillo is out for an extended time, I still won't have CTR cover anyway, so I could start bringing in dollars instead?

With Averillo in the reserves I'm more inclined to think it may only be a one week thing, in which case it's probably wiser to hold onto him.

But I'm not sure... any thoughts?

I think him being 18th man must be a good thing. I kind of want to see if we get more info. I wouldn't be against holding him but we can't cling onto hope forever.

Wonder how what % of people bring in hass the next few weeks guessing it's low. I look at it as spending 400k for townsend to Hass or use that 400k to turn the likes of turps and townsend to moses and matterson and have cash left over. bloody hard decison

At least he's fun to watch, as he swats away smaller centres - and with most teams looking very cookie-cutter this year, he'll be a nice POD if he goes big. Beer

Got Averillo -> SoS pencilled in.

Thinking Ofa to Ah Mau then I can look at Liddle/Hoy/Milford to Walker so I can upgrade Tino to Twal or AFB potentially.

Would love to force Haas into my side but he is much.

Not Lodge instead of Ah Mau? Cheaper and I think could score very similar

Bit late but truthfully more of a fan of Ah Mau, already traded Lodge and unsure how much time he gets off the bench nlw.

Interestingly looked at Marata last week but his name is so close to that Maranta spud Lachlan we had at the Bronx that I dismissed it as fast as opposition's did to said spud

Happy now and Lodge returning is a bonus should make same money as LAM and Alvaro so sort of saved a trade there mate

I’ll sort it out before weekend mate, have to dig deep through my Friz illicit collection. But with LB sporting one then I might need to go back to the drawing board

Having a look back at an old team tracker and found this haha
Was posted the morning of TLT

If you think you are having a bad run of injuries or team is falling apart then see below
If you thought the 2020 centre debacle was bad, this was 1 week for me (in 2016)

Hang in there, you are never out of it
