I’ve got Avo and Simonsson doing bugger all. I don’t really wanna run with Niu to partner Jet at centre as the Broncos have a horrible draw upcoming. Thinking of an Avo to Opacic or Momo trade your thoughts?
    Stay with Niu.

I would flick Avo to someone who can make money. Don't waste time trading for CTRs unless it's to play 17 or works out financially. The biggest concern is Avo and Simo aren't making money

    So if legit:

    Hutchinson to hooker
    Manu to 5/8
Iakvalu to CTR (or BMoz CTR, Ikavalu wing)
    Lussick on bench

    ???

    TBH probably a better team

"The Sydney Roosters have been dealt another shocking injury blow with news that star hooker Sam Verrills requires further knee surgery.

X-rays have revealed scar tissue on his knee that requires an operation and will keep him out for another four to five weeks."

Source: Buzz in his latest article so probably bullshit.

As much as I love SOO and I'm a diehard Kiwis fan, I will be disgusted if players that have played for other nations play in SOO. The whole point is you're pitting players that grew and developed in one state against the other

Only other thing I'd wanna see is other Aussie States being added (dream of course cause nobody else plays league) or a NZ version that has players from Auckland vs Out of Auckland

Just checked back. He wasn't in the system at all to start the season, and had DPP before last week. Maybe he did get it from the moment he was added.

I seem to remember him being WFB only, but that might have been in Sportsdeck, not on Fantasy

The Sydney Roosters have been dealt another shocking injury blow with news that star hooker Sam Verrills requires further knee surgery.

X-rays have revealed scar tissue on his knee that requires an operation and will keep him out for another four to five weeks.

Verrills was originally due to make his comeback this weekend after recovering from an ACL injury.

The Roosters already have their number one hooker Jake Friend out indefinitely as he recovers from a bad concussion from the opening round game against Manly.

Coach Trent Robinson is expected to start with Drew Hutchison at hooker this weekend in a tough game against the New Zealand Warriors.

The would mean Kiwi Test centre Joey Manu starting at five-eighth alongside rookie halfback Sam Walker with Brett Morris switching to the centres.

Matt Ikuvalu, who scored five tries against the Cowboys last year, is expected to be named on the wing ahead of Joseph Suaalii.

Making matters even worse for the Roosters is the unavailability through injury of utility and handy goal-kicker Adam Keighran.

Is it worth going Tino to Matterson this week? Was going to wait a week with Matterson's BE, but there's no guarantee Tino doesn't lose some cash too & Matto could go big against the Tigers, so worth just pulling the trigger now?

    Other options are:

Avo to Momo (eats into my bank to get a proper gun, and I already have two playable CTRs in Roberts & Niu)

Avo to Egan (no CTR cover)

Avo to SOS (cash gen but no CTR cover)

Tino to Moses/McCullough (no EDG cover until Schuster gets updated, as I'd have to move Crichton to MID)

Hold Tino one more week, get Matterson/Moses when they bottom out (no guarantee they don't go huge against the Tigers/Tino doesn't lose more money).

    Thoughts please?

    Im all about it

You can be eligible for an Australian state and another country very easily. It’s not even a fudge of the rules - the eligibility criteria are completely different.

Would also remove a massive disincentive for people to choose NZ, Fiji, Tonga, Samoa etc. over Australia and improve international footy.

But too many people will get upset for it to ever happen

I honestly believe he'll end up around $550k over the season. But he'll probably score a 15 at some point. I would only get him if I needed to play a CTR. Be content that your ones are healthy and scoring okay.

You have a point here. I just think, especially in Lolo's case, he's played for NZ, Tonga, now he wants to play Origin... bit of a farce

Just jogged my memory. almost certain there was a LS (or one of those guys) tweet about it. They first added him as WFB only and then added the DPP a day or so later.
