just wondering whether its too late to get schuster? and do we think elliot can keep it up?

Ooo, I’m such a sucker to be on a team- you reeled me right in!

Schuster is probably a gamble that he keeps an edge role when Sironen gets back. Personally I think he’s a great chance to oust Gosi since he is obviously a better player and provides more with his skill set, but there are no guarentees he doesn’t go back to the bench.

Elliot I think is overinflated. His last two games has seen three TO’s per game, and adding 12 points. His first game included a try. I think he will still do well, but he is punching overs at the moment for sure.

Haumole supposedly good to go by round 5. Siro is going to be more like round 7 or 8.

I think Schu could hold his spot over Gosi

I'm considering it but totally fucks my squad balance.

Already got Cleary, Munster, Moses, SOS and want the base price cash out of Walker. Add in a hooker heavy bench and I'm already benching someone I would rather play.

Will probably have to pass and try to change squad balance in next few weeks

Poor for his career long term. Broncos, despite their current form, are a quality club. Plus Titans on the up. Both would be good landing spots for him.

i know he's stated how much he wants to be a 9, but maybe he's coming around to playing the small/mobile lock long term. 'dual hookers' becoming more of a thing at the moment too.

love the way he runs the ball anyway

It'll be interesting say halfway through the season to look at TO stats by team to see if the better teams get more of them than the worse ones. Common sense would suggest they will, which - all other things equal - would mean a slight edge picking cows from the Panthers, Storm etc. over the Bulldogs, Sea Eagles et al.

I'm looking at jumping off Liddle early for the Schuster trade. The numbers make sense imo.

Although I can go Liddle to Mahoney which is super tempting.

Main concern was his job security, but he played well enough to keep the spot for a few weeks surely, but feels like I might've missed the boat on him.

Is there still enough money to make in the time he's got? Or should I cut my losses on him since I've already missed the 62k last week and be looking at getting in SOS/Walker/???.

Got Lam so want to do at least 1 trade this week. Going to be patient with Averillo as he isn't in my 17. Of my other players I am closest to trading Milford. Can't see him getting many/any attacking stats in the next month or so, and his base isn't huge.

TLT dependent, but assuming walker gets the start I currently like the look of:

    Lam -> Walker
    Milford -> Egan

Main concern with these trades is neither of the trade ins plays R13, but should help both cash generation and scoring in the meantime. Leaves 219k ITB for an upgrade for Brandon Smith or Turpin in the next week or 2.

    Team pre trades:

Well done on holding trades so far! You'll have four more than most. i'd probably punt Croker before Milford because you never know with Milford while with Croker you kind of do.

11.1M including the cash in bank. Cash gen vs cleary is an interesting option, i think you need to bring in cleary and hoping some cheap cows come up (Schuster style).

I only have Townsend (should be straight swap for Moses in few weeks), Schuster after price rises, and maybe sideways SST trade around Origin (unlikely)

Rest are either Origin keepers (which could potentially involve sideways trade but again unlikely) or R13 cows (which is probably where some trades might come from as I don't think they all make it there)

I've got Milford, Brooks and LAM as potential upgrade candidates, with Moses, Koroisau and Yeo as targets. Milford and Brooks play round 13, but I can't see them hanging around for that long.

Still plenty of money to be made on Schuster. If he maintains his current average of 55 he'll make over $300k
Assuming he doesn't maintain that there is still plenty of cash on offer.

If SOS can maintain a 50+ average he'll probably make $300k too.

Walker you'd just be guessing at what he can make - it may or may not be more than Schuster/SOS, but he has the advantage of coming in at base price.

Other than a desire for CTR coverage I'd be happy to cut Averillo loose. He's not going to suddenly start averaging 40+ for an extended period, where as there are guys at/around that price who are going to make money unless they get injured.

Trying to decide if I am finally forced to bring in Fifita or do I pivot to Haas

I currently have Tupouniua in that spot so depends on how he goes, without tries probably averages 50 and has another 60-80k in him, if he maintain 60pts average then his price doesn't matter as he would be a borderline keeper

Going to be some interesting trades this week I feel and will make an interesting TLT

    Mahoney's scores have been 109, 75, 53.
If that trend keeps up he'll be hitting single figures in 2 weeks.

Other than for potential bye purposes I am not sure he is a great value pick

$11.17M (incl citb) I missed some of the miss-firing cows, like Averillo and Lam, which helps

    10.9 million including cash reserves.

Not to sure wether Liddle or Reimis make way for Schuster.
At this stage I’m leaning towards Reimis.

Will give me Cleary, Munster, Schuster and SOS as halves for the time being
