I don't think I would have started with Grant if fit

For the same reason I considered Cook but eventually went without. There was too much value in other hooking positions, and viable captain options elsewhere.

I think one of the problems with these coin goat MIDs is people have multiple of them and/or don't have enough decent MID starters, and are being forced into playing them, rather than a slow burn emergency in 18-21

Sometimes people need to play 2 of them, which is causing a bit of consternation.

I think the problem is Leota has been really good and stepped up and filled Tamou's shoes pretty well.  Perhaps the shoulder complaint Leniu had kept his minutes down last night, but it's agonizing having him starting MID and watching how many little minutes he gets.  That's why if Lodge has a good game and gets good minutes, it's still tempting me to straight swap.

Leniu didn't run the ball well last night and failed to find his front a few times. Might have been tired, cause Manly had all the ball when he was on, but I expeect better. Will want to see a bounce back next week but I'm probably holding until origin

Going from a disfunctional Tigers team where he averaged 61 in 72 minutes, to a premiership contender that will give him 80 more often than not. Still might grab him, but he is a certainty for Origin

Fun fact Grant averaged higher in his 5 games below 80 mins than he did in his 80 min games (10 games)

Guessing the sample sizes are the contributing factor but weird occurrence

Leniu averaged 20 minutes last year, and is averaging 30 minutes this year.

He's getting a decent increase in game time, and he is making money. Some people need to temper their expectations

I know we want all of our players to score 50+ but I'm happy with Schuster's 39. Against the Panthers in the form they are in, I'll take that, especially with a BE of -8 .... show me the money.

This is exactly the point. If we didn't have him in our fantasy teams, no one would give a shit if he were playing 10 minutes a week. He's doing his job for the team, and the coach seems happy with that.

Pretty much exactly the jump I expected to start the year, with him finishing the year as a 40 minute guy. I just messed up squad balance by over loading halves and hookers which means I need to play him every week

I'm happy with his 39 and the cash gained. The kid looks like a quality footballer and will only get better every week.

At half time captaining Cleary looked disastrous. At full time it looked much better. I woke this morning to his update -wow, but how? I’m just leaving the captain on him until Rd12.

So I brought in Momirovski this week, thank God for that last minute try. Was stoked with a +50. I then read that he could be fighting for a place in the team next week if Staines goes to FB! Momo on the R wing sounds more like a 20 than a 40. Oh well, at least he isn’t injured I guess!

I don't get it, what happened with Crichton for Staines to go to FB?

Mate its like Ennis in the pre game show last night suggesting manly should look at moving on DCE. He suggested it out of thin air, but you can bet this will turn into an ongoing 'story' now.
