No matter how good Matto is, his HIA history is scarey. Another failed HIA and it won’t be 1 week out. I’m surprised he is actually playing today.Enchanted Glossy Flamingo wrote:965 with Liddle, Laurie and Roberts which seems about par. No mention of Tupouniua in nrl physio so although he didn't come back on after the hia he must be ok hopefully

25 points between Fogarty & Hoy made a bit of a mess of my week but I won't complain about 960 with Laurie to come .... could still scrape into 4 figures, which I would have taken 3 days ago.

Yeah I would assume he’s fine to go but if he’s not a keeper and his price is about to plummet it might be a good idea to move to a keeper? He’s made 100k so not optimal but if ya can grab a Moses/Macca typeWhite Lightning wrote:No mention of Tupouniua in nrl physio so although he didn't come back on after the hia he must be ok hopefully

He'll have to go through HIA protocols, that'll basically be extent of news
Won't really know if he's able to play until later in the week. 6 day turnaround is about the lower limit of being able to get through the 6 stages
This week TLT probably going to be a bit misleading as I imagine Eels/Tigers will just name same squads assuming no injuries but may make late changes (6 day turnaround is probably one of longer ones though coming off Monday game)

If Tupouniua is gtg round 5 I won't sell because (a) I want to save 2 trades & (b) he's up against the Sharks who will concede plenty of points so Tups could get a try/attacking points.

If I can flick him to Moses in one trade I’d be pretty tempted too.White Lightning wrote:If Tupouniua is gtg round 5 I won't sell because (a) I want to save 2 trades & (b) he's up against the Sharks who will concede plenty of points so Tups could get a try/attacking points.
Although I’m keen to get Walker aswell for Liddle perhaps haha.
Cleary, Munster, Moses, Schuster, SOS, Walker does seem overkill unless Schuster actually gets DPP and can become good cover

I'm interested to see how many people trade Tino in or back in next week. If he scores under 50 again, don't go complaining about it!
I got to admit it's tempting to strengthen my MID's with someone who could become a keeper that'll still be under 600k but I'd have to see more than 1 great game out of 4 to say that'll be the case.

982 with Laurie and Roberts to go. Hoping maybe to get away with no trades this week but the Middle lottery that I know I will consistently get wrong will get frustrating and I might be tempted to trade Liddle for a decent Mid if he scores poorly again today.

Of my 3 players today Laurie is highly owned so no real rank gain, Liddle also highly owned so no real rank gain but some may bench him but I'd say the majority will play him. My 3rd player Roberts is the only 1 who could provide a rank gain but he'll have to score big to gain any meaningful rank gain. He will have to go large because there's a few Eels players that are owned & some other Tigers players.

I heard Knights coach O'Brien in the radio saying they have so many injuries he'll struggle to name a 17 this week but at least Ponga is due to play. If Ponga is fit Watson could start in the halves as they only have Green & Crossland or maybe Barnett will start in the halves & Watson bench as usual & they won't play Crossland.

I think having 3 play today will be a jump regardless.

Are you sure Ponga will be back? Did O'brien mention it? I thought he was 2 weeks away as of last week?

I had intended to play Liddle, but stuffed up and forgot to swap him with Avo. I now have to be content with Croker’s 30. This will guarantee Liddle scores 50! 16c /1009 (including Croker already) is still a great result.White Lightning wrote:Of my 3 players today Laurie is highly owned so no real rank gain, Liddle also highly owned so no real rank gain but some may bench him but I'd say the majority will play him. I didnt hear the radio interview but he seemed to suggest Ponga was likely in the post match presser, but did say they wont risk if it hes not quite right yet.

Teeth Eater wrote:This Tino thing certainly is interesting. I'll be honest and admit I never considered him in any format - not even SC, where it seemed everyone had him. And I try to never make a decision based on a singular big score, but this one's certainly intriguing. Big value purchase there if that's a taste of how he's going to play from here on in.
Can't forget those first three weeks, though. I know others here weren't interested in him either - has this changed other non-believers minds? I'm almost convinced I still won't be swayed, but he certainly put forth a compelling case tonight.
Follow the role not the scores. I expected him to be a 50 odd minute minute and he is currently averaging 61 per game. Those extra 10 minutes a game take him for being ~5 points under priced (my preseason expectation and why I didn't start him) to being 10+ under priced. Now that he will be priced under his starting price he is under consideration for me
Problem is, I don't have anyone to trade to him with all my cows scoring how I expected. Maybe I'll punt Liddle early for the increased scoring

Morning. Is Bunty Afoa, likely to take AFB's minutes?
