Fantasy is really what's keeping me engaged at this point, because unless we're getting a big game of the top teams it's just training paddock stuff.

Coach gets sacked and does what he can short term to not get sacked himself (Ie win games)

Throw overs at players for short term gamble to get results to avoid above, meanwhile being deep in the hole from the previous coach doing the exact same thing

If you bring up your young talent you get smashed playing against men, and if you recruit experienced journeymen they get injured or don't turn up.

Good players won't come to your shit team preferring to play for good ones on 'unders' and third party payments
Any good ones you have left jump ship for a premiership elsewhere

pretty much, that's why I've got the C on Cleary and won't be taking it off him unless he gets injured.
