What's going on at the Broncos is laughable, that Croft is in the mix.

Anthony Milford appears to be dropped from Broncos with Brodie Croft training at five-eighth today.

Haha yeah, same story every week with those twitter "journalists".
I'm sure a lot of teams/players shift around at training during the week.
Fix the bench and rotations before anything else IMO. Yeah the halves are dishing up rubbish and yeah steering the team around and putting better kicks in for repeat sets/not 7 tackle restarts will help somewhat with defence (In that they do less and are fresher), but when the biggest issue is defence and its such a long way from where it needs to be that aint gonna be enough. Maybe having Oats in the forwards as a benchy could help, even if you shifted him to 2nd row rather than the middle, you'd be able to push Riki or Glen in. I mean we've run Simo and Kris off the bench and thrown them into the forwards, as well as the regular Havilli use. When other teams are bringing on smaller and more mobile blokes to target the tired defences you don't have to have a hulking giant in the middle, but you do have to have energy to bring some line speed, chase hard from marker and continue to slide out and help your edges so they aren't worried about the inside.my tv broke wrote:
Kevy, though probably just defending his players, even said Milf 'had one of his better games' in the post game presser. He's definitely out of form but there have been signs of life there, defense he has made more of an effort.
There's no clear answer at the moment. Croft and Dearden together? Yikes.
Maybe Milford getting dropped is the last ditch effort from Walters to send a message to the playing group. Not sure what else they have left in the tank really.
I'd try hold him with the thought he'd be back a week later.

Tigers team list will be interesting this week too. See who cops the blame for the loss the most.

Yeah, difference is the local media in Sydney don't have the resources or the column inches to report on 9 different teams training sessions.

Fantasy players would want Simpkin as 14, who has also been gunning it.
I'd be happy to drop Brooks for Madden as starter.
I'd also like Tui Simpkins to get a run
I haven't really watched him play, but Allan Fitzgibbon is quick and has a few tries in NSW Cup - give him a run on the wing.
