What's the point of bringing him in now when you know he's not a gun so won't be a keeper? Seems pretty pointless to me, even more now he's had multiple concussions.

Because I can't really afford the keepers at that position and cows are still a thing. People wanted to bring in Sims last week who is both more expensive and scores less consistently.

It's only Monday I have a whole week to work out its dumb for myself. Probably only need until Tuesday, when he's likely not named anyway.

Just throwing shit at the wall.

Ok then, pick an edge player between 419k (W Graham) and 695k (L Leilua) that is worth bringing in. ITS NOT SO EASY IS IT

I'd also like to point out I mentioned Wade Graham at the end of a long post about not thinking right for NRL fantasy. Like it might have been a half-joking suggestion.

In a team which has scored so many tries how come Fogarty has only gotten one try assist?

You only have 1 edge player plus Riki?

Because try assists are a little silly and go the person who threw the last pass, not the actual person who created the play. I'm sure Fogarty has created more tries than one.

Was gonna get rid of Munster eventually before Origin and gets me a CTR keeper. Can then either flick Roberts to Hampton/Verrills in a few weeks or just stick him in EMG

Bird could also be the word at a cheaper price...

Other HLF I have Cleary SOS Walker Schuster

Could also be a very dumb idea to trade out a 60 average player who’s fit

EDIT: or could just do Roberts to Hampton and that’s it..

I dont know if it is useful to anyone but there is now a little button in the header of footystatistics.com that drops down a list of rnd 13 / rnd 17 games.. for easy reference

If you are using ownership percentage as a reason to trade a player in then keep in mind that everyone on this site with a bankroll is looking to get Haas in over the next couple of weeks, so that ownership is going to go up (I assume its not just this site that wants him either). Not sure at what ownership level he would become less desirable to you, but its something you might want to keep in mind.

Thinking of going Milford and Riki/Fuimano to Peachey (so I can move Roberts to the EMG) & Verrils.

Decision will probably be made tomorrow when teams come out, but any other suggestions for cows to trade in rather than Verrils?

Overall score 4897, rank 3867 and will have 28 trades after doing 2 this week.

If you need I would pick up a mid like Lodge (broncos 😱) or Bunty and do a little bit of switching around. Assume you have Schuster? He shd be good for DPP next week.

Team for this week after this mornings panic session.

    Brailey
    Watson, Tino, Lodge
    Fifita, Tups
    Cleary c, Munster
    Momo, Roberts
    Papy, Brimson, Laurie

    Turpin, Schuster, SOS, Liddle
    Walker, Utoikamanu, Riki, Niu

Have 317k to spend but thinking holding might be a good idea of Tups and Roberts are good to go?

Mate I kinda hate getting rid of Munster for a CTR. You pocket some change but you're going to score less in your 17, unless the other trade this week is an upgrade.

But I am also the guy who just got so bored he suggested Wade Graham as a viable playable cow, so I'm a bit of a laughing stock.

Yeah I think a legit option is just play Fui this week alongside Crichton, and ignore the edge problem for a week while I wait for Schuster's DPP and a better/affordable EDG option as well.

That assumes Fui still has a spot with the McGuire arrival.

But I'll probably do that, if I don't go with Wade Graham

Its way back in 2014, but last time Griffin coached McGuire he played 60 minutes as starting prop and averaged 50 points

That was under old ruck rules, and didn't include Turnover points (McGuire has 4 in 4 games for 4pts each week to his average)

McGuire is also 7 years older so not sure he'll reproduce that output. Hopefully he gets a week off the bench so we get a bit of time to look at him before making a call (and let his price drop a bit more)
