This has been the issue plaguing the Warriors since 2012. Losing has become a habit. Look at Storm and Roosters though. Even what Ricky has done with the Raiders. Really make winning the normmy tv broke wrote:
I've heard enough from people that spend time around training/club that the culture has changed for the better, but they're a young group that looks pretty scarred at the moment. Really lacking some onfield leadership. There looks like a lot of passive personalities in the group. The habit of losing really hard to break without big changes in the playing group.
Need to go to market. Finucane would be a good signing in my opinion. But need a strong spine leader, edge forward, probably a fullback...

If I had a second trade out option I'd probably grab him. Might be an option from Moylan after next week

Really hate doing it, the ole track back. But as the smarties will say, if it's it's the best fit, it's the best fit.
I'm very insightful mate, ask me anytime.

Anyone reckon Avo is still worth playing permanently at ctr, or was last week a fluke

Does anybody think that Niu will find his way back into the team? Serious concerns having no Centre or WFB cover moving forward because SImsonnson really does have to go for Verills.
bringing in Hampton would address these issues though.

Mate would you grab Haas in my shoes?
I have 139k spare and this:
First trade is Liddle to Simpkin:
Second trade Riki to someone:
Team before trades:
Macca
Angus Watson Alvaro
Fifita Riki
Cleary Schuster
Momo Jet
Teddy Pap Laurie
Brailey Turpin Liddle Uto
S. Walker Leniu Niu Simonsson
You could do the one trade and hold really. You don't have a Milf to deal with but getting a Haas or Harris absolutely wouldn't hurt. Could get Fog or Moses too to move Schuster to the bench.

Fog's role is known, can wait a week to see Tevaga minutes and injury statusFalconSloth wrote:

Milf to Fog locked in.
Will then be shamelessly stealing Wolfy's plan - second trade either Liddle to Simpkin + 495k to upgrade Riki if Haas looks essential or Liddle to Moses if not & target Riki + Tino to Tohu/Matterson + Simpkin next week.
Leaves me with the following:
Turpin (vc)
Watson Tino Stefano
Crichton DiFi
Cleary (c) Fog
Avo Roberts
Teddy Pap Laurie
Brailey Schuster Walker Moses/Simpkin
Moylan Leniu Riki Niu
28 trades, either 36k or 495k bank
Any glaring issues with that?

Good news. Angus Crichton has resigned with us for a year. My understanding is that he wants the option to potentially swap to Union in 2023 to have a crack at the Rugby World Cup in France. Would make sense originally being a Union boy. Probably expect a few NRL stars to also make the switch for a year or so.

Are people planning on playing Simpkin in their 17 straight up?

Looking at that Broncos backline, I'd be surprised if he doesn't find his way back at some point. Arthars, Kennar, Mead is hardly an inspiring lot, Isaako not exactly setting the world alight at the back, surely he makes his way back in soon-ish. Only takes one injury/head-knock somewhere in the back five.
Unless you need a centre I'd try to hold for a week or two at least.

Niu may not be seen again or he may be back next week. Given all the focus on Milford hes barely been mentioned by journos and hence the coach.
I hope hes back soon because the 1 to 5 playing this week are... pretty bad

Would you go Tohu for the fact he doesn’t play origin and Haas does? Already I have 4 origin players 5 if you include Pap.wolfking wrote:

If I get Haas issue is I have Angus, Fifita, Haas, Cleary, Teddy and Pap as origin players.
Thing is if Haas keeps playing 65mins I think he’s close to must have. Others could get him in the next fortnight too whilst I can’t afford him.
If I do not get Haas now I run without him for at least the next month.
I was planning on maybe trading out Angus to Tohu once origin comes around anyway as Angus will get a weeks rest and Robbo will fuck around with Angus mins a bit I think. People are saying to me that’s a bad move but not really considering Tohu plays round 17 and Angus will get another week off somewhere so that’s advantage Tohu for 2 weeks Angus is not there and I don’t think Angus makes the points up.
Anyone else care to share what they’d do this week grab Tohu now and forget about Haas for the next month at least or grab Haas now and then grab Tohu for Angus come round 11 or 12.......

Farnworth back soon and Staggs close to bye round is what worries me if I was to keep Niu, as he probably wouldn’t be preferred CTR in that case
If he’s getting dropped for the caliber of backline now, what about when it improves with above returning from injury

Capwell surely a hold against the Broncs. Roberts I'd hold too unless you want to waste trades on centres - you have two fit ones though so I wouldn't. Simonsson, Niu hardly urgent, can probably sit in NPRs for a week.
No reason you can't swap Capewell & Walker with Riki & Liddle to field a solid 17.
Can't go too far wrong with Riki + Liddle to Tohu/Haas + Simpkin though depending on your bank.
Or even just Liddle to Simpkin (or Fog depending on bank) and wait a week to see what Riki does in terms of minutes off the bench.
