Anyone bringing in or considering Bird this week? Low BE and good run of games coming up
Would really be a punt on him becoming a keeper and injury free. Also plays R13

He’s not guaranteed but very much in the mix
I personally feel like his off field drama could count against him (Latrell and Klemmer dropped for attitude reasons)
Saifiti, Paulo, Jurbo, Murray, Yeo, Brown, Radley, Crichton (if Cordner is fit, does he straight back in???), Finucane all options for middle

Brown didn't move to Aussie til he was 15. That would make him ineligible for SOOMoanaman wrote:

Think he's a fine option if you need a CTR.
Also just as likely to put up a poor score as Roberts (people quick to forget his R1 13) so won't personally be trading while I have 2 fit CTRs.

Hampton and Simpkin came in for Niu and Liddle.. First season playing properly... am i making a big mistake with the tradeS by focussing on cash gen rather than strengthing my starting team (mainly mids)
Odds on some thoughts? Sorry to repost.

Interesting. I'd be completely amazed if he didn't make the squad. I must admit I hadn't thought about the off-field stuff, but even with that I can't see him not being a clear cut above option B and therefore a shoe-in. But, as with an abundance of things, I could be wrong.

Yes I am considering him, need a centre to field 17. Its either Bird, Peachey or maybe Opacic. Probably want to keep some cash for moves next week so might not go Peachey. Bird should average more than Opacic but might be more risky injury wise and I'm already sick of centre trades. But.. Will probably go Bird anyway

Cheese is melting but a few others burning to the ground. He stays this week.

Yes, I'm trying to claim it as my own idea.
Brilliant suggestion, with the slim pickings in the EDGE position Lucy provides some good consistency. He's capable of getting a banner and meets the eye test.
Thanks Wolfie!

I initially switched and got warm on Simpkin when even respected tiges supporters jumped straight on, but I’m going to trust gut/instincts/experience and take a look at him. Never a bad idea, and hardly like Liddle to him is still not on next week if he’s playable in 17
Speaking of, think if they do improve this week it will be thanks to Stefano replacing them plodders so would start Stefano over him in 17

Edging with cheese isn’t fun, costs too much and just makes a mess

Interesting. I’d quietly slid him into my run-on already as I had Tesi at WFBmultiple.scoregasms wrote:Pulled the trigger on Turbo. Here is hoping for a banner
