I've got Liddle, Niu and Riki (which i'm sure most of you also have) and i'm planning on hoding my trades this week. I'd like to wait until next weeks' team lists and see if nothing has changed (or any injuries occur), and then i'll pull the trigger on Niu/Riki to Simpkin/Fogarty.

Plus, an even better cash cow might pop up in the next week, and i'm worried about Simpkin potentially sharing duties with Liddle. If that does happen, Liddle will be worth holding for a couple weeks due to that low BE

With all the fuss over Milford there has been nothing about moving Pangai to edge and Riki to bench. Just as a Broncos fan it would be interesting to hear Walters thoughts on that, but obviously I'm even more curious as a Riki owner.

Not sure how rotations are going to work but as a fan I hope they just keep Pangai on that edge for most of the game, but that won't be good for Riki hitting his BE.

I guess it depends on tonights performance as to whether Pangai stays on the edge. Pretty obvious his job will be to get up and in the face of their left edge.

Its something a lot of fantasy coaches were worried about in pre-season when looking for reasons Riki might be a trap.

It lets Broncos best 3 middles (Haas, Lodge Carrigan) all start and keep a damaging player in TPJ on the field too.

Yet to be seen whether it works or not though

    Morning all

Set on Simpkin in for one trade, just stuck on the other one. Choosing between Tevaga or Peachey

If I go Tevaga, my MID and CTR lines up as:
    Tevaga Watson Stefano
    Momo Roberts

If I go Peachey, my MID and CTR lines up as:
    Watson Stefano Alvaro
    Peachey Momo

Who do we think scores more? I could potentially get the other option next week as well. If their price doesn’t go up by too much..

What's your take on how long Milford will be out?

Kev said in the press conference "(Milford) can go back in the Intrust Super Cup and play his footy... interesting in the next four weeks where he's at, mentally, physically..."

If he's out 4 weeks, then it's too much coin to hold, but Kev seems particularly volatile in his thought processes to me

Actually seems like one of Walters' better ideas. If I'm right and Riki comes on around 30 minutes and plays out the game on the edge with Pangai spelling Lodge or Carrigan, it means Riki will avoid Kikau for the first thirty minutes when he is fresh and come on just when Kikau usually has his rest.

So you'll be ok if Fifita gets the same phantom updates Cleary does? Laughing

Given I have the option of trading out Liddle, Riki or Niu instead, think I'll hold Milf this week at least. We'll see what Kevvy says after the Panfers put 50 on the donkeys.

I agree. Excited to see how Riki goes if he does get 50-60 minutes. He looked gassed trying to play 80 at times.

I think he will play two weeks of Q CUP, just gut feel. Two weeks is a long time in rugby league.

I'll hold him this week because I have other red dots anyway and I can afford to do the trades I want to do without needing to punt milford. It just means more money on the bench instead of in the bank.

    Will re-assess next week.

Yeah, I'm not thrilled about moving him on (still think he's got an 80+ in him at some point) and like you say two weeks is a long time in RL.

It probably helps the argument that it seems incredibly unlikely that Croft plays well enough to cement a spot

Macca is a gun, but you already have two really good HOK, but are lacking in other areas (CTR/2RF).

I suppose you might be planning to bench Schu once he gets his DPP for cover, and play another Half (Walker?) with Cleary?

I'm also running no CTR cover so can't criticise you for that, nits an undesirable spot to fill. Perhaps though you could go Peachey and use Angus as your 2RF cover if you weren't going to pick up another Half and wanted Schu there.

I don't hate the Macca trade mind, it's just risky.

Incredible that Tedesco has been pretty quiet this year (at least from my feeling) while it feels like Latrell has been killing it. They have the same average

Nah now that I own Fifi all of his ghost points will be completely justified!

Cleary's ghost points are still outrageous and need to be investigated!! (For about 2-3 more weeks until I get him in)

I'd like to hold Milf but I just keep going back to the priced difference between him and Fog. Plus Milf getting locked tonight doesn't really work in my plans so he has to go.

I tend to think of it otherwise.

Tedesco is getting at least a try a game, sometimes more and only averaging what Ponga now averages as he cruised around doing little, thinking about Xbox

I’ve been sweating Tedesco hard as I hate not owning but have to admit, he hasn’t hurt (yet)

For those with a large bank that are not spending it this week, keep in mind that we have Simpkin this week with Blore, Verrills, Burns etc on the horizon expected to get fantasy relevant roles. Gonna end up with some great cash out options in the short term.
