What sort of role is Riki playing off the bench? Taking mins off one of the edge, namely TPJ or spell the front rowers?

Planning on getting both but better trade in this week considering BEs and matchups?

Fog. don't see the rush for Moses, don't see the long term value with Brown

Fog was already providing a boost to previous years scoring before the injury game plummeting his true value

Thanks mate I agree. Moses with the injury affected score also. Less kicking but running it more this year. Fog looks the better value

Squad looking like it’s going to become a bit unbalanced with halves and hookers soon

Hopefully blore or bunty give me a good middle to allow TKO to Cleary

Seems dumb not not but want Fog this week, gut he goes huge

Currently my team is:

This week will go
Niu -> Tevaga
Liddle -> Simpkin

Will move Crichton to EDG and Tevaga to MID with Riki to emergencies

Also I am more of a H2H person and any overall success I get is just a bonus so I more worried about having the best 17 than bye planning
This leaves me with 387k

Next round I’ll go:
Riki -> Haas which I can hopefully do in one trade (the gap is currently 416k)
I’ll also go Croker -> Verrills/Blore which can plug the excess plus fund the cash for my trade the following round of:

Leniu -> Fogarty

This leaves my team as:
Brailey
Haas Tevaga Watson
Fifita Crichton
Cleary Fogarty
Bird Roberts

This leaves me with a team only lacking one gun WFB and one gun CTR plus a better bench some peaking cows by that stage in Utoikamanu, Alvaro and Egan should allow me to strengthen my bench with some extra cows expected around that time.

Not too bad for a round 8 side if you ask me

Not many dumping Tesi Niu as they have centre cover ? 

I dont, so have to trade. Going Tesi to Ramien, and Liddle to Simpkin. Means running Riki this week also.

Probably dooms me, but I cannot justify Cleary at current price, he has to lose distance to the pack at some stage, a 90 avg isn’t sustainable and he’s almost 300k more expensive than most of the other guns I’m eyeing for my final team, I’ll just make moves to bring those guys in and circle his name for around the origin period if his value hasn’t tanked before then.

I understand what your saying, but the longer you go without him the more your rank will fall.

I mean you say that, and I’m not intending to brag but I know I’m about to, and I understand it’s only one week, but my Round 5 non-Cleary team halved my overall rank, beat every team in the FOG besides 1 and finished around 200th for the week, so as far as I can see, it’s a disadvantage not a death sentence, there’s ways to minimise any damage he might do if I’m smart with my trades.

Can do Liddle to Simpkin and then I have 426k spare.

Can do Riki to haas leaving 10k spare or can do Riki to Tohu leaving 136k spare, thoughts?

Or can bring in Fog or Moses.

Tohu/Fog is what I'll be going back and forth with before needing to make my mind up on Saturday.

Who isn't keen on Haas?! I'm also gonna have to go tohu because he is 130k less with that DPP. Consistent asf aswell. Haas definitely on my radar, hopefully sheds a little bit of cash in the next few weeks if that's even possible lol

Have to feel for the lad. Hardly confidence boosting when you’re trying your hardest, first full season back.


If they are looking for the next Grant, he’s gone fellas and is a generational talent who is going to captain Australia so your boy Simpkin - I don’t care how well he’s doing in reserves - is not the solution. 


Liddle can be buried away on my bench with his 11 BE until this is realised..
