Well what a night out that was at the footy I was shaking near the end there and felt numb! To thinking you have won to losing to winning again. The Tigers always play well against us and we tend to find it hard against them. After being bboooeeeedddd by their faithful last week I knew they’d rebound. 

Just on all this Souths got all the calls we got some more calls as in the ruck our play the ball speed as 3.65secs, Tigers was 3.09 secs, they laid all over us in the tackle so when you push that envelope you gave to expect to be pinned. Was a good tactic though from Wests. 

Also whilst we are on calls Wests had a few forward passes and Reyno was taken late off the ball twice and no penalty!

Yes Souths had some calls I fully agree but it all evened out in the end!

Just on Latrell what he did to Nofo was lazy and he has carry over points he could miss 2 weeks that’d be fair. But the talk of him getting a month for that is a joke as JWH does it every week and only ever gets fined. Just as it’s Latrell is why the media is crying foul! Bennett in the presser wasn’t too concerned said there wasn’t much in it. I could cop the 2 weeks.

What I can’t cop is the BS re the Garner incident. He made a very good run and then off the ball after Latrell passed Garner held him down for 15-20seconds and instigated it so Trell was thrashing his legs to try get back in the play. If Garner didn’t hold him down then Trell doesn’t lash out.


Saw Douiehi after the game racing past in the car park and I congratulated him for a very strong game. I like Douiehi he has a good heart and is very passionate about his footy!

Also go talking to Daine Laurie’s father after the game in the bathroom and he said how proud he is of his son and I said you should be he’s very talented and he had a fine fine game.

Just on Simpkins the kid is a gun already he’s a goodun.

The Jet wasn’t too good but at least he scored 15 or whatever it was it’s better than 0. Young Keapoa is out next week so hopefully Jet holds his spot.

That Tom try was insane reminded me of George in the 2014 GF. 

I got emotional when Reyno kicked that 2 point field goal what a play and he set Murray up for our first try too!

The Tigers have a team they can be proud of tonight. Douiehi was also awesome.

I was just relieved to get the 2 points a move on. I didn’t use much voice til the last 15mins and it’s pretty much gone now!

Was great to all belt Glory Glory out together at FT! A win in golden point is always oh so sweet!

I saw two slugs mating in my backyard one night. Reminded me of a scene from John Carpenter's The Thing
