As shit as Roberts has been the last fortnight, he still put up mid 30's before then.

I'd take the trade of a gun over someone that might not be a significant upgrade on Roberts.

That is exactly what I am contemplating doing for those reasons. Imagine having Laurie on your bench and being forced had to play Roberts every week!!!

If Tommy still looks like good value next week i might buy but at the moment my priority is to fill a gap and provide future cover.

i don't mind this, could net you good points + another rd13 player. Just be a hope that Crichton goes on his try scoring spree like last year.

Spend as few trades at ctr as you possibly can mate. I don't see Critta being a top ctr. So unless you're adopting the IDGAF about CTR approach and gonna play him for the rest of the year barring injury, I wouldn't do that. I'd be more inclined to bring Opacic in and just leave him there for the year.

FWIW - I'm playing Roberts this week, did last week and likely will next week while I sort some areas that are worthwhile spending money on.

    Yeah thats where I'm at.

If I get a gun WFB then yeah Roberts is in the 13 and im choosing wether to put Brimson/Laurie into EMG which is rough

Haas with a BE of 72.

Means I could big brain play and bring Tohu in first. Gives me $327k.

Then all I need is Laurie/Isaako to make up a 50k gap between themselves and Haas (Who should lose cash). Haas scoring 60 drops about 20k. So then Laurie needs to score 50 or Isaako about 45.

If that doesnt happen I can just trade Turpin or Egan.

Alternative is get Haas this week accept I lose 20k by trading him in early and then depending who I trade out get Tohu/Lucy/Moses next week.

Oh I have to bring in a WFB to have 17 on the field this week so its more future planning for when Papy is back in. Sorry left a bit of detail out

Neck minute haas banner. This is a hopeful pundit who has brought him in this week.

Some of that risk has been removed a bit with the cowboys winning so should get some more time there.
Crichton is more of a cut price keeper that you could use for cover, but I don't know if I would pay 423k for an 18th man in round 7

Booze posted this last night when I mentioned the idea of Crichton. That last sentence is telling. I still like the idea don't get me wrong, but you're killing off a spot with a 400K player that would probably end up being 18th man. Good cover but he could be right, it's a bit too early for that.

Saying that, I'm still tempted by him. Makes things look better than Hampton does.

Egan ain't for off peaked and 60 points for Payne over the next three rounds would see him lose 40k. Or is it just for this week you're talking Random?

Thats true, I am trying a cute play to essentially gain 20k he may drop and the 20k Lucy/Tohu go up.

Its a good point. Crichton gives me maybe too much depth when everyone is fit?

Ah, righto. I'm in the same boat but just booked a short term room at the Hamptons. Will score the same, make money and the end result will be the same as your Critta i.e. Won't be in my team long term

You mean Hampton is the smart play? His BE is tempting. I think Chad would want to stay at the Sharks for the year too. Don't see a move happening. Cows ain't winning the comp so it doesn't really matter.
