RIP teddy as a keeper WFB? Good choice starting with him and Crichton instead of Cleary

Nah, I couldn't sleep if I had Mulvy rubbed (dirty flirty opportunity) the wrong way.

Change the rules until Milch wins the comp

Not sure what you mean, it really was a good choice to start with him after 4 / 5 rounds. In hindsight selling him then would have been the right move. He’s just had three poor scoring games in a row, one of which he wasn’t there for most of. Hard call to say he isn’t a keeper anymore.

I don't want to rub it in, but it was possible to start with all of them.
I started with Crichton and Teddy, bad.
Started with Cleary, Pappy, Fifita good.
Win some, lose some.

But he's not a centre so how could anything possibly go wrong.
It's almost like his performance is impacted by his own injury and then by several injuries to his team.
But both his centres have been regulars in the side which doesn't make sense because only players listed as centre in fantasy get injured.
Oh wait
Teddy, Pap, Ponga, Latrell, Turbo have all missed games from injury this year.
Time to change all forwards to be selectable as backs so we can cope.

After 5 rounds Teddy was 11th best scorer and top 3 WFB (just ahead of Latrell) and had dropped a little bit of cash but not too much
Since then he has scored 36, 6, DNP, 14*
You'd struggle to find anyone people would willingly own that has scored less than that

He started the season being gifted tries that were set up by Keary, which has obviously dried up. Doesn't look hungry for the ball like he was last season. Without all the gifted tries in the early games, he would have been sinking like a stone at the start of the season as well.Pookus McFly wrote:

75, 72, 52, 60 in first 4 rounds. If that is not a good start I don't know what is (whatever Papenhuyzen and BMoz put up I guess)

Honestly, this game is absolutely brutal. I don't have any skin in the game but wow. The Roosters have been copping it. Parra are showing just how tough they've become. Reminds me of the Dogs of War from the 80s, belt the shit out of the opposition and win the game.

I agree, I'm questioning Mulvy categorising Teddy in the bad column?

Without Keary he hasn’t looked the same IMO. Creating and passing before the line. Not much running, minimal TBs = not enough points
I’d be on him for sure at the 500k he’ll be in a few weeks but 44, 36, 6 in 34 minutes, and 14 in 60 is horrible and isn’t just because of the unavoidable concussion
It’s the lack of dangerous opportunities he’s getting to earn his bread and butter TBs, LBs and tries
