Brown is a relative clean skin isn't he ? Still was a dog shot and he's better than that

Moses an absolute must next week. Should have pulled the trigger this week I guess, oh well.
Was thinking this, going to dominate KM with Will Smith/Rankin next to him
No easy way to get him in for me after being 20k short this week

Wonder if it's just as easy shifting schuster to half and getting another forward

I agree with the first half but disagree that the solution is to let players punch each other.
I get what you're saying but in that era it was a deterrent against foul play.

May just need to use my second trade this week to cash out Alvaro so I have a chest to get in two of Matto/Moses/Koro next week
Not sure if I will yet but who’s the best cheap option to bring in this week not named Walsh?
Dunno if I’m keen to get another Tigers back in Cini..
Gamble?

That would work. I purchased Moses 2 rounds ago but before that Schuster was in my halves & scoring quite well as a 2nd half.

On S. Walker I just like to say he's a small little fella but boy has he got the heart of a lion. The last 2 games getting hurt & playing out the game is a testament to how big his heart is. He left the ground in a moon boot but I bet his mind is telling him that he'll be sweet for next week. Sure Robinson might contemplate resting him but I bet Walker will be in his ear trying his best to dissuade him from that decision.

Yep that’s why I’m not going Alvaro to TPJ. I can trade Alvaro to Moses next week or if S. Walker is out longer term can hold Alvaro and trade him to Moses.wolfking wrote:

Can get someone like TPJ in for Angus later.
I know my score will be under par this week again for the 5th week in a row as most have a Moses or Papali’i plus Tommy T and I’m playing Simo at WFB as well but oh well banking a trade means I have banked 3 and will have 21 left whilst some could be down to 19 trades or maybe even 18.
Geez I really need Pap back next week it’d be painful to play Simonsson for a third week in a row next week.

I don't think it was as much as you think.
Trent Barret's swinging arm to Inglis on the ground didn't result in a punch up and I don't think he thought "I shouldn't do this because someone might punch me"
There were probably more punch-ons because of foul play but not less foul play because of the threat of it.

Cannot fault his toughness but unfortunately my understanding is that with syndesmosis injuries, they get significantly more painful once you're cooled down.
If he's out, he's out but if he is good I'm not sure if Trent could rest him if he wanted to given how low the Roosters stocks are. :/

Saulo playing NSW cup so Fitzgibbon probably comes into the 17 by the looks of it.

The Barrett example was quite common & accepted i.e. if a player was laying on the ground & the ref hadn't called "tackle" then it was fair game, the players accepted it & in only a few occasions did players react to it. However I can't remember any player doing what D. Brown did.

I also remember Greg Bird kneeing a player on the ground in the head and the opposition just pointing it out to the ref and not reacting angrily. That was a while ago though.
There has been a tonne of dogshots over the years that haven't resulted in fights/brawls.

Bird was always one of my least favourite players largely due to the fact that everytime someone had an arm near his neck he stuck his tongue out and acted like he was being choked to death.
I think worst incident I've seen in a game was when Gallen deliberately ripped open Laffranchi's stitches. They couldn't close the wound up again so he couldn't come back on the field I think.

Is it a lower scoring round though, or just lower for fantasy relevant players? Or neither?

Horrific leg injury in NSW cup for Saulo.
