yeah fair enough. Mbye just always seems to fuck with peoples fantasy teams aye hahaha. Just one of those blokes who always chips into the roles of popular players eg. simpkin, now cini, grant last year.

I'd be happy to be wrong about Cini (unless he replicates last week's performance again Laughing ), but he seems first choice to drop out for Talau to me.

That's the trouble with players from bad teams, so much chopping and changing as the losses pile up with regards to Mbye. Just so many bad teams it's hard to avoid Laughing

    Ok my weekly cashflow update...

well this low scoring week boosted my team with +$28k
The lowest increase of the season. So many players scored close to their break even with only a few getting a decent rise (SCrichton, Swalker, Simpkin), with Mahoney(-51) and Teddy(-71) bleeding cash.
I'm sure Turbo owners are happy with a +$77k boost.
Brailey has finally peeked at +$380k
    Ipap peeked at +$326k
    Schuster peeked at +$300k
    Watson at +$282k
    Laurie at $255k

Young Sam Walker is still making a little cash and sits at $308k

Cashflow wise my team won't rise much in the next few weeks before origin, but I'll be keen to pick up some cheap rd17 cashcows (not sure if these even exist?) once rd13 is done and dusted.
Team value will start to increase once Teddy (-$266k) gets on the scoreboard.

And how did you end up with Roberts, Cini and Simo? I thought you had 17 without trading or did you need a cash out to fund an upgrade?
I needed cash to fund an upgrade was going Hampton to Cini and Alvaro to TPJ but I held off on the TPJ move banked a trade and have decided I will get Moses this week.

But yeah now have both Roberts and Cini which is an issue.

On a personal note, having 8/20 isn't too bad I think but there's room for improvement.

    Nice!

    I've only had 4/20 69s....

Hey guys, a few questions if I may:

    1) ~70min or so for Taumalolo - are people thinking this is the new normal? or did something happen in that game that resulted in an increase in minutes from Coach's proposed earlier in the season plan for Tolo?
    2) Is Matterson back on the edge he played last season?
    3) noticed a couple posts about Walker in a moon boot - any word on if he's gonna be out?

    Thanks heaps!

Doesn’t look like there were any HIAs or injuries from that game. I’d probably want to see it one more time to jump on board that train.

I suppose Payten thought oh well it’s the Broncos let the lad feast

I didn't watch the game, but taking Taumalolo off at 15 minutes, bringing him back at 24 minutes and then having him play out the rest of the game seems weird.

I know it's a big ask, but if JDB comes in the same player he left then he is the best of the lot. He was the best ruck defender in the NRL. Great offload and can do a little bit of ball playing through the middle to link the middle forwards and halves. Light enough on his feet that he will get tbs, offloads and bulk run metres. If I was designing a middle forward for the modern game in a lab it would come out pretty close to JDB before he left

Yeah it does seem pretty weird. I’m happy to benefit from weird though

Pretty tempted by Niu>Flegler for 2k or Kennedy and banking the cash

Someone has to benefit in the pack + Haas at Origin in round 13 leaves decent minutes

I’ll probably grab one of them this week. Just hope Flegler isn’t named at lock, his scores there are terrible.

I don't think it matters, he would play the same way regardless.

Flegler is a gamble on form. Kennedy is a gamble on mins.

Very true, I’d rather gamble on the cheaper Kennedy but will see what this evening brings

I remember last year before covid first broke the first 2 rounds Flegler I think was in the top 5 points scorers then we had lock down & when the nrl restarted his game & form collapsed. I just don't think this faster paced game suits him.

I think physically he is fine its more just form/consistency/confidence. He's no different to any other big man going around.

He's still only 22. I had sort of written him off but he might just take a bit more time.

I don't really understand the push to move Lodge on. He's reportedly on 700k so if we move him on I'm sure we have to probably pay 300k of that anyway.. and we're left a prop short.
