Still tossing up tohu or Matto for Fifita. Not ideal. Matto gives me funds for starling but tohu is the proven option this year

Papalii 3-5 match ban - grade 3 shoulder charge

Wighton & Hodgson 1-2 match ban - grade 2 dangerous contact

Pretty soft, thought Papalii should have been referred straight to the judiciary

There’s people every year that go that hard, looking to win the comp at the half season.

There was a guy here last season, forget his name, left after a big meltdown about not much. was top 10 early, made some very sketchy trades and ran out, ended up outside top 5000. Maybe even 10000. That happened to a lot of the early pacesetters last season. And that’s without byes to factor in.

What I’m saying is, my strategy of being 20000 at the start is obviously the way to go. Right???!

Yeah they all got off really lightly imo. The Wighton one deserved more than a week for mine, could've broken his leg...

Expected more for Hodgson. Will still probably get Starling but makes it slightly trickier.

Damn missed the Raiders game and assumed it was similar to Friday night ref overreactions. Will have to check it out.

Papalii misses Origin 1. Since Raiders don’t play R13 so QLD can’t do their usual selection shenanigans.

But then again Averillo to Starling also seems an unnecessary luxury/sideways trade to my mind (given his 14.1mil squad value)

I get the feeling he's a little too focused on the short game and holding 1st for as long as he can, rather than an endgame.

Not sure if intent comes into it when talking about a chicken wing style but I don’t believe he had any intent.

Still think any suspensions due to infringements when playing for a club should be served by club matches, not Origins or Test matches. The clubs get off more lightly and the rep teams suffer. You want your best out ther for NSW and QLD showcasing the product.

You think this Papali thing is bad, wait until the round before Origin when you will see the same amount of reportable offences getting a week on the sideline  for a minor offence and wiping Origin eligible players out for Game One.

That's when people are really going to kick off with this new rule amendment.

As shown by trading in Starling when he already has Tohu, Crichton, Schuster, Cleary, Papy, Turbo, Walker and Fifita not playing round 13.

Don't think he has a plan and doubt he is still in 1st after round 13, let alone by the end of the byes

The real issue is the lack of depth for QLD. Will massively impact them with a few players out. NSW will be fine.
