Lived the pod options brought up towards the end of the last thread. Burton gets massive KMs when he plays without cleary and I've got Momi in my team atm.

Decided to trade burton in, so him peachey and momi will be my 3 centres now. 100k itb, 20 trades after this. 16 playing this week as I've only got 1 ctr.

I can't find anything like 14-15 players I want to own for rd17. That's kind of my point though. I think I'd rather sacrifice rd17 than my final team, I think it would score more points (holding guns that play one less game but score much better). Load up on rd13 players, trade them to as many rd17 players as I can stomach for my final team + two extras (hopefully rising in price for Fifita and Pappy). Probably looking at something like 14 rd13 players, but only 9-10 for rd17.

Indeed I need to work it through, I know basically how I want the trades to go for each plan, whether I can afford them or not is the next step. In fact if building a decent final 19 costs more than I'm likely to have, then I would have to go cheaper which opens the door to more of the lesser rd17 guns.

On the Koro chat, my concern is his base this year.

Last year averaged 50 tackles per game, in his 3 games back he's averaging just 37, which makes sense given the scorelines and the amount of ball the Panthers have had.

Even last year, Koro's lower scores came in the Panthers' blowouts: a pair of 39s when they put 56 and 38 on the Sharks, 46 in a 26-0 against the Warriors, 46 in a 20-2 against the Eels, 50 in a 42-0 against the Dogs.

Thing is, the Panthers play 3 of the bottom 4 in the next month (Dogs, Tigers, Cronulla) before a more testing run home (from R15 onwards they play 7/10 against the current top 6 - Roosters x2, Eels x2, Rabbits, Storm, and Dragons x1) so who's to say the blowouts don't continue for a while and Koro's tackle count stays lower?

Koro will struggle to get the big tackle count and doesnt need to run the ball himself, just pass it to cleary.
Seriously though im not rushing to buy him. Will see how he goes over the next 2 weeks.

I'm not keen on him at all, but with crap cash gen, if he can fall down to around 600K, I'll probably have to just take the punt. Fallen guns will have to be my aim to get a solid 17 I think.
