Was planning to trade him in this week as Ctr with the thought he'd be a safe 20-30pts even off the bench for the tigers

Deal is off. Dragons only wanted to pay 300k of 800k next season. He has a few others interested, Broncos and titans being two of them. Not sure who the other one is

Just looking at it, if I don't go Suaalii, options in my price bracket are Cotric, Kris and Schoupp

Cotric will go better but have to pay quite a lot for the privilege.

Schoupp is also dirt cheap but not much better job security. Dogs fans seem to like him, but they are starting from a low base

Kris is a little tempting. probably about as good as you'll get for scoring potential and reliability atthat price

15 available this week before using any trades. Have 4 centres in my squad and only one available for probably the next two rounds Rolling Eyes Only saved one trade as have to keep trading to field 17. Bought in Lolo last week so unless one of my 3 tigers come back next week will need to trade again to field 17. Bet if one comes back it will be the one I trade out this week. Already played 15 one round this year after the two trades. Fantasy is an absolute bitch this year.

Roosters question - where does Billy Smith fit in the pecking order when fit?

He said mid April he was aiming for round 12 return.

Just looking at dogs forums, they were worried that if they didn't give him a run soon he would go elsewhere.
Ideally only need him for 2 weeks (plus a R17 game would be nice)

Suaalii will play this week, and you'd think he's a good thing for R17
I guess might not play next week, but he is $100k cheaper than more reliable options.
Does feel a little bit like doubling down on previous CTR trades by deliberately getting someone risky though.

Hynes making $$ is quite unexpected, initially was just for points when papy was out. Eventually he will return to the bench and will probably need to be sold.

I'm taking a risky option in Hynes this week, but thinking ahead for the run home, I'm going to do my best to stay away from risky cash outs that become red dots. Might come at a cost to the 'top 17', but having 20/21 reasonable green dots may prove more valuable. Especially in rounds 24 and 25 when everyone is out of trades and playing 14.

I could never have Schoupp in my team

because I hear this every time I see his name:

Well, when I say never... obviously if he was a Mega Cow I'd just have to say wang dang and get on board

I've taken the 'fuck it, take a punt on the guy you want' option on Hynes but that's probably the last of those kind of trades I make....down to 20 post trades this week so will have to be calculating from here

It's understood Pangai and Isaako are lucky to be playing this week, with the club seething they met with Maguire without permission.

Considering Pangai's history, he could be released immediately.

Was wondering about this. In the event of pangai being stood down, who would likely step up ?

Ahead of Suaali but behind Ikuvalu. With BMoz done for the year Smith becomes next man up

I don't see Pangai surviving this. I reckon this weekend will be his last game for the Broncos, if he actually plays.

Another rnd 13 player bites the dust.

They're both contracted for 2022 right?
I'm kind've surprised if there isn't any consequences to Maguire & Pascoe (who already has been suspended by the NRL) and Hartigan - given the rules around on-contract players. I guess it might just be he said, she said?

I guess with all the air travel accidental coincidences will happen

Will be interesting to see what they do. I have both in my team. I probably should have listened to the don’t buy Broncos apart from Haas rule

weird, could've sworn I read an article a couple of days ago saying that it was backroom dealings between the two clubs, wonder how big the punishment is if the Tigers have been caught red-handed trying to entice players to break contact.
