I always find it funny when someone says he got up straight away and played on after contact that was dangerous and not within the rules (not necessarily this case highlighted).

If someone jumped me on my way home from the pub but i escaped relatively unharmed I would hope the law would still jump all over the prick for the intent.

Yeah for sure. Just this case specifically though, and players know if they get one on the chin as well. Can’t say that players don’t act a bit and lay down if they get a little slap

If Kelly got right back up like nothing happened then that’s it - nothing happened

I copped a bit of heat in some fantasy circles last year for not owning Haas to start the year, although most understood I had some sort of logic behind it(however crazy)

Although I didn't try to change the scoring system when Haas scored well within his expected range

Yeah mate you can relax yourself Radley has taken the early guilty plea so will be getting 4 weeks.

Dude it's crazy how much the 'rorters' live rent free in your head! I know it's the deepest rivalry in the league but fmd hahahaha. I wish I was on this forum back when they went b2b lol.

Yeah I get ya mate.

Like football when a striker gets a slight touch in the box or expects one and takes a dive and puts the decision in the officials hands. Would be interesting if players in league starting get carded for milking the penalty under minimal contact and getting carded.

Honestly considered it myself. Shit base, but had a really good running game and showed enough he should hold his spot for atleast 1 week

I read an interesting comment on nrlsctalk re the head contact...instead of suspending players fine them a percentage of their salary. Of course players don't want to miss games but what they hate more is a substantial dent in their bank account.

So far this year we have discovered that the more prominent the chin the larger the scoring. As seen by Cleary (98.4) (no explanation required)
Fifita (75.2):

As can be seen his chin is quite prominent with a protruding mental protuberance

The third highest averaging scorer is Tom Trbojevic (73.3)


As can be seen his chin protrudes further than his lips, so, whilst his long neck disguises the prominance of his chin from straight on it can be observed that it is infact quite prominent as I've been told by sources close to Tom.

The trade in option you have mentioned is Albert Kelly

It can be observed that his chin is quite the opposite and is not prominent in any way. This screams trap for me but ultimately it is your decision but keep in mind that anyone that didn't trust the chin is way behind now.

Placed on report 4 times, but only 2 were charged.

He's taken the guilty plea on one charge (1 week for Dangerous contact on Albert Kelly)

He's seeking a downgrade on the grade 2 high tackle on TPJ. An early plea would've been 3 weeks.
I'm not sure what the grade 1 penalty is, but if he fails it's 4 weeks - which I believe is cumulative on top of the Kelly charge.

I've seen calls for Brimson over Ponga but surely not. Hard to go past Hunt's greater utility value with HOK/HLF & moving Munster/Holmes to FB if needed. Maybe a left-field centre pick a la Turbo?

I'd have him at ctr (or wing if you wanted to push someone else in) and Capewell bench personally, or 14. But then I can also see arguments not to so sorta hard to say anything with confidence
