DFifita may get a rest in rd18 as well

You really think they will rest Turbo?

I brought that up about Turbo a couple of weeks ago and got shut down. I think he gets a rest those two rounds also.

16 if I double trade this week, would rather hold Angus though and work out the best trade in for next week without having to guess. In fact even if suspended I might just play Laurie and trade Angus next week when I have all the info.

Solid. You have banked one more than me. I would like to hold Angus too.

They were giving him reduced minutes to ease him back in. Surely they are not going to play him on the Friday after SOO on both occasions.

Looks like you are in with a shot this season. Especially if you can field 15 in rd13.

I dont see any reason to offload Angus. This is why we should have depth.

They are absolutely mad if they don't.

Regardless of both games being on a Friday post Origin; now that they are in the top 8 and given they will likely pump Newie this week, they can afford to drop Rd 14 and probably 18....they can't afford for Turbo to do a hammy.

Cleary the same but he seems a bit more durable.

Unfortunately, i mean 15 trades. Likely to have 11-12 players for rd 13. But, they are all quality with Watson/bird/Smith the three worst

I have considered doing an Alvaro to Tohu trade. Not sure I’ll do it though.

Worry is if Angus fails tonight and Alvaro is dropped to 18th man again I’m down to 2 mids.

Oh oops i thought you meant players.
12 players should still keep you in a good position

Agree. They have motivation and confidence now. They can compete without him, unlike the first few rounds.

I wouldn't put any energy whatsoever about worrying about that when you'll know the answer to both those questions this evening. You can make a plan then.

    Anyone looking at Matt Doorey?

was knocked out against the sharks then had low minutes. Was on the field most of last week and put up 48.

got no cover at Edge or Mid (can flick Tohu into the Mid if i have Edge cover) and Cini + Fusito stuck not doing anything.

only have 256k to spend so not many options.

Any major issues with my team? Just figure it might help to get a second set of eyes on it. Plan is to trade Walker/Alvaro to Hynes/CHN leaving me 17 trades and 16k in the bank, then Welch to Mahoney and Simpkin to another cheapie next week (can't afford Simpkin to CHN or I would do that instead)

    Brailey
    Haas, Watson, TPJ
    Schuster, CHN
    Cleary, Moses
    Bird, Harper
    Teddy, Turbo, Hynes

    Crichton, Welch, Starling, Doueihi

    Laurie, Momo, Simpkin, Verrills

I have Burton on the shortlist this week but I also have Peach, Kelly and Bird. Seems silly but thinking he sees a fair few games in the halves over origin. Plays the Dogs this week too. Will probably miss Hynes so need some different kind of handcuff player that can go big. This is all based on Crichton getting off though.

I still like CHN but gone slightly cold on him. I think I'd rather a round 13 player. Could still be a pickup fround 14 if he continues starting and scores well this week.

I didn't either to be honest.

There are some good players running around at the moment but Turbo is easily the most influential player in the game.

I’m probably going to get him this week and hope he scores a couple against the Bulldogs this week and then gets a 60-70 next week and possibly the week after before going back to center.

If he can somehow average 50 between now and Round 16 he can make some good cash and then flick him on
