Same bro! Thinking beans to walker as a cash grab and then trade to papy is the go!

Can’t believe there’s no chaos this time around.

Parts bench rotations with Niukore, Lane & Cartwright going to be interesting (& then RCG back from suspension shifting Kaufusi back to bench)

Interesting to read there are Walker keepers amongst us. Hadn't really considered keeping him but it crossed my mind that if Crichton got off I could think about holding the trade. Don't think I will, though, but something to ponder, I guess. And I don't think he gets off anyway.

It won't happen, perhaps in a few years maybe as he's a quality footballer however it will not happen this year barring massive injuries to the squad.
Would hate to bring him in this week and then lose him haha.

    Cheers lads

I'm hesitant to drop Walker, could do the same or similar if I let go. 16 trades remaining suggests I should ease up

Macca is coming in either way for me unless injured

Either comes in this week for Crichton and replaces Walker in the 17, or comes in next week after it's certain he hasn't copped a 1 week suspension and hopefully drop a little extra cash.

Haven't really considered selling him tbh. Scores will probably boomerang and will be best used in a first-look loop, but he's still an attacking half in what's usually a high-scoring team.

I have so far kept Papenhuyzen, Harry Grant and David Fifita. These are three long term keepers in my side that really if I move them on, I would need to trade them all back in which is 6 trades. By leaving them in my NPRs I'm not making money but I'm not losing any either as they're going to stay in my team long term.

It also means that my squad doesn't have the starting depth of many others though.

Currently I've got guys like CHN playing in my team each and every week and whilst that was a gamble that has paid off thus far it also means consistently playing Laurie (because I'm an idiot and didn't pick up Tommy T)

Means my team looks like this at full strength.

    JBrailey.
    Harris. Crichton. Watson
    CHN. Fifita.
    Cleary. Moses.
    Olam. Bird.
    Teddy. Walsh. Papy

    Fog. Sitili. Grant. Schuster
    Hynes. Laurie. Starling. Simpkin

    Hynes will help upgrade Watson/CHN
Laurie and Starling will become a solid 18th man.
Schuster is not too bad at the moment but will get upgraded in a keeper at some stage I would imagine but he's low priority at this stage.

Seems decent to me. As long as the long term strategy hasn't hurt you too much in the short term. And you are low on rd13 players but I assume holding those guys means you have banked more trades than most and can remedy that with the six trades over the next two weeks should you choose. Could charge home strong with trades in hand. I guess the risk is by having the red dots is those carnage rounds where there are multiple outs on top of those you are already carrying could really kick you in the nads.

Hesitant too. 18 trades left. Could follow MS and part with Angus depending on outcome tonight.

Looked like might be alright. Chance he is better chance of holding this spot over Riki now?

Glenn back next week I see

Id be really surprised. He was solid tho and id expect kevy to reqrd performance.

He has played all season in q cup at prop so when riki/glenn available he might get a go in middle rotation

Side note - anyone remember why matto only played 59 mins?

Initially he got a HIA, which he passed.
Then I think he got an early shower.
I don’t even remember the HIA so I can’t comment on that.

That was my initial thought too, but was thinking Talau has been playing a bit of CTR this year, so maybe not. Talau played CTR with Cini wing when we beat the Dragons a few weeks ago, facing them again this week, so could go either way I guess.
