Frustrated with the unknown of the origin selection.
I think I'll hold trades for now...
If Mahoney gets selected I may trade him to Burton pre round 13, keep Burton as a CTR keeper (for as long as he can keep Momo out) and use the extra cash to get Tohu in round 14 (Barnett to Tohu)

The Flegler origin possibility makes things difficult. Need a mid or edg to cover Angus and would ideally prefer a Rd 13 player. Any suggestions? Can afford pretty much anyone but would be wanting either a keeper or someone who'll make cash quickly

Just to clarify, Angus only has one week off, doesn't he? One week of regulation NRL, and then the first Origin? Then he's free to play? So he only misses one Fantasy relevant match?

With Flegler, I guess anytime you can select the 3rd or 4th best middle from a bottom 4 side, you have to do it.

Also Sua has just been dropped for JACOB HOST. And is in that origin team. Interesting times.

Honestly, Flegler probably wont get picked, and Lockyer just threw him in there to maybe spur him on a bit for the Broncos. It doesnt mean too much at the moment and Green would have his own preferences

The last couple of bench forward spots could go to a range of guys.. there isnt a lot to choose from, but Mofo was there last year..

Fuck the judiciary, and it's not because of Fantasy, it's because I have tickets to Origin at Suncorp that is likely to feature 5th string Origin forwards due to suspension.

I'm looking long and hard at Tolman. If I could afford anyone I'd probably go with Tohu? But neither is R13, are they? All I know is neither play Origin, which is what I care about.

I'm also tempted by Ford, but it's only short term and very risky. As for Flegler, do we honestly believe he makes that Origin squad? When Locky put up that list on Monday night there seemed to be a fair bit of tongue in cheek in it all. Which is not to say it's all complete rubbish, but a few things like the Flegler inclusion stumped me a bit. Who knows, though, I think he'd be good in Origin.
