NRL Fantasy 2021 Part 60 - Twas the night before origin team lists, and .....

So not playing this round I have:

At this stage I'm thinking Pap + Starling to Macca + TPJ & trade Simpkin to whoever if not named.

Could also get Peachey instead of TPJ & do Stefano to Burton too which is somewhat tempting.

3-8 week injury though! No news from the rorters, still r14-16. No other base price player seems appetising, I've got 19 playable men so happy to trade one of Simpkin/Leniu to a dot for a couple weeks anyway. I've got 222k ITB beging to be used to bring in Harris and CHN R14.

Walker to Burton my only trade at the moment.  If To'o and Ted don't backup though, with Walsh out, I'll only have Laurie and Simo, so might look at a WFB.  Could go To'o to Nofo but I like To'o as a season keeper.  Round 14 will be difficult.  That round probably should have 4 trades.  Or I'd like to see 3 this week and 3 next week would be ideal. Wanted to trade Haas but probably should keep him really.

Ben Hunt as a nice POD option with DPP for R13?

Has had some bad scores in him this year. Two scores below 40 and an atrocious 18 in 80 minutes in Round 8. However besides those sub 40 scores, his lowest score has been 64.  

I was expecting him to make the Origin team so he's suddenly become an available option. I had been considering McCullough but Hunt covers two positions which is looking like a huge upside this season.

In post game presser, Robinson was asked who would be back for round 14 (after already indicating Walker will be straight back in) and he said Crichton would be the only one (obvs), said he doesnt expect any of the injured players to be ready.

Haas, CHN, Schuster, Cleary, Teddy, Walsh, Tommy T, Angus, Simo.

So 12 guys 11 if you don’t include Jet.

Is it worth trading out Simo to A. Kelly or is that silly? Would make me cash but then down to 14 trades and only 3 round 17 guys in CHN, Schuster and Walsh.

Re R14 as well if Teddy and Tommy T were rested along with Walsh being out I’d just have S. Crichton and Laurie at WFB.

Just had a quick look and tbh, pending TLT, there aren't that many R13 trade ins that are floating my boat and/or don't compromise my ability to get Fifita and Tohu in post 13.

Might change my mind as the week floats on but I am disinclined to trade out origin players (including Haas) given I have had to double trade to get 17 the last 3 weeks.

I am leaning towards thinking that anyone regularly scoring 50+ (or even 40+) should probs stay in my team until I have the funds to upgrade them properly (i.e. after R17)

So is it only your starting 13 who count this week or if you can field 17 do you get 17 players scores like normal?

Hunt is a great call. Also didn't give him a thought as I thought he'd play origin also.

Is anyone who doesn’t have Averillo looking to bring him in for round 14? He looks close to a must have R17 gun and there are not many of them?
