I'm foolish enough to take that bait.
100% the West Tigers should beat the Panthers tonight.
Penrith are missing all of their spine from last week (albeit getting back their first choice fullback).
They've still managed to put together a solid 13, but with an inexperienced bench.
Whereas the Tigers are missing their Origin superstar (Ofahengaue) - so probably not much different to any other given week.
IF the Tigers play like they did last week, then that probably should be enough to beat the disrupted Panthers.
BUT the Tigers have not managed to string two performances together for, what, a couple of years maybe?
Additionally, the Panthers haven't been beaten in a regular season match for over a year and have a reserve grade team that is also unbeaten.
The Tigers have been somewhat improved since round 8, having either won games or at least been in the match.
Their losses have usually come from slow starts and conceding big leads early, before battling their way back in to the game (then ultimately still losing).
I'm tipping a Tigers win and have bet all my TAB account on it (the whole 5 bucks)
Panthers NSW cup team copped their first loss the other day (unless my brain is lying to me)
