I had Leniu at 80/1 last week for a double, was in the mix after he scored that fortunate / johnny on the spot try but he didnt get the minutes. This week every chance for atleast the one.

If I had a lot of trades I’d gamble on Campbell as a cashout. There’s potential there. Brimson loves an injury too

Coaches instructions were: You run as hard as you can.
You do not pass the ball.
You get up and play the ball as quick as you.
When they have the ball, you knock them down.
Simples.

Back in the eighties, when we were losing, the coach would nominate one of the pack to start a fight in the next scrum to upset the other team's rhythm.

Were you a Beerwah Bulldog too? Our Coach didn't need to nominate anyone though - our halfback had a mantra of 'if we can't win the game, we will win the fight', and he had his own 'cattledog' type call so everyone knew it was coming. I was the bloke catting it out on the sides also Ben Creagh style.

Bowraville Tigers.
We had a few Koori players in the team who were absolute weapons if there was ever a fight.
My favourite was the other prop, he had wild fuzzy hair, and would pack in with a headbutt, then away he'd go.
I'd just hang on and hope no one decided to put one on my chin.

Mate I'd be spewing. I'm happy I never went down the Alvaro route. I can imagine owners were sinking into the ground last night.

I was fullback a lot as a youngen, through under 11's and under 16's... Best claim to fame albeit one play was being switched to the left wing with 8 mins to go from FB because the winger had been steamrolled by the opposite winger for three tries. Final minutes and they had spread it to the right and had numbers, out to their big man on the wing with just me between him and the try line i went to him before he came to me, hit him right around the hips and he spilt the ball. From the moment I tackled him until the moment my teammates were picking me up off the ground (maybe 5 seconds) I had no recollection, but they said I hit him so hard and picked him up a little and drove him into the ground. It was classic david and goliath. I never forget the coach giving me man of the match in the sheds afterwards and the boys going nuts picking me up and screaming... such an insignificant under 15's mid season match, but it sticks like an Mvp moment
