Historically doesn't rest between Origin so they should play the same amount of minutes for the rest of the season and Cook does have bigger upside. Still seems very sideways though. Would be worth it if NSW lose on Wednesday and Cook gets dropped, becoming a Round 17 player, but can't see that happening.
I think Cook will be rested this year as he was too burnt out at end of last season. I can see him resting after one of the origins and in another couple of games coming off with 15mins left it we are well ahead.

On another note just noticed some of the players prices didn’t go up as much as I thought. The magic number must have changed. Alvaro losing 6k more than I anticipated as well not ideal.

Early thoughts are I’ll maybe look to get Shaun Johnson in, thoughts on that? I know he’s injury prone but he should keep getting massive kick metres and he goal kicks. He’s playing for a contract elsewhere as well and plays round 17. To me his job security looks pretty good as well. He looks very good value at 606k.

Honestly, bar some unexpected disasters, I think you are well safe if the buffer is 1000 points.

@wolfking you said that on last one that’s locked now mate it’s not 1000 points I think you misunderstood me it’s I can’t lose by more than 1000 ranks.

Jax brought in Hughes, Hunt and JFH last week he scored 852 I only scored 616 so he’s now 251 points ahead of me. His rank is 702 mine is 2970 so I have 12 rounds left to close the gap. So if he finished say 320 rank I can’t finish worse than 1320 rank otherwise I’m fucked.

It took a lot of guts to agree to this bet it’s gonna be really bad for whoever loses.

At least I have 3 more trades than him though!

We do our PODS with late mail crew on locker room around 3 nights a week loads of fun, fantasy talk, banter and some dark stuff sometimes once it passes 10:30pm lol!

Ah......right....umm.....okay....lol, might be time to start.....

I have to stay calm but that’s hard to do! Long way to get yet and he hasn’t had any bad luck yet.

    His team is:

    Brailey
    Watson JFH TPJ
    Matterson CHN
    Hughes Cleary
    Harper Averillo
    Tommy T Hynes Laurie

    Macca Bunt Peachey Schuster
    Barnett Momo Gamble Blore

Ha me too. On reflection I prob should’ve used more than 1 trade for Rd 13.
Sruck with douihi at the moment to cover turbos impending unavailability.

If Trbos out many will be 1 short. I’m expecting him to play if he pulls up ok. He’s playing Centre so will do less k’s but he will be heavily involved no doubt.

Manly playing Cows and locked in a battle for the bottom of the top 8, they will want to win and history says they have a much better chance with Tommy.

If they get a big enough lead he’ll obviously get an early shower but an early lead would hopefully mean he has racked up a few points.

That’s what I’m hoping for anyway! lol!

Just to clarify, should Rabbits be panicking, or standing and applauding?
    You’re GIF is slightly confusing.

Karmichael to be named in the halves for Brisbane this week apparently.

Thoughts on Shaun Johnson at 606k? Now getting big kick metres with Moylan in halves and SJ kicks goals.

Would punt Laurie to SJ, thoughts?

I don’t mind it, so long as you’re aware of SJ’s injury history.
With no sharks in my team, I haven’t paid them a lot of attention.
Townsend still hanging around would also be a concern.

Isn't he free to leave if he finds a new club? Probably only a slight chance he leaves the sharks early

Has there been any word on how long Schuster is out for? Could do with another half in case Cleary is rested.

SJ and ARey are both targets for me. Got to do something different and loading up on fieldkicking/goalkicking halves is probably going to be it. ARey's KMs way down on usual this season, but he's still the main kicker so that could just be an anomaly. Problem with both of them is stressing out every time they get tackled and don't jump straight to their feet.

Souths have an absolutely piss-easy draw as well. Don't play any good sides over the next two months. Cody might even be a decent cut-price punt.

Previews say he's expected back this week. First game, so at least there'll be clarity before lockout.

He set up 3 tries in a losing effort, he's buckley's chance of getting dropped.
