    Does anyone know much about Lawton from Manly? He was a pretty solid scorer when given the minutes last year. What are his prospects like? Probably not great with Schuster / Sironen coming back soon....

    I’d probably be getting him if it wasn’t for Schuster and Sironen. Too risky

    Although is it possible that Lawton moves to hooker to replace Croker (pure speculation from me) and Schuster and Siro are starting edges?

    Wait and see how he scores, but personally I'm thinking 19/20....hoping he plays low minutes post origin and drops in price a little

    Plenty of trade in options, but struggling to decide who should be traded out of this lot:

    Brailey
    Watson, Lodge, Smith
    Crichton(VC), TPJ
    Cleary (C), Moses
    Roberts, Bird
    Tedesco, Laurie, Hynes

    Mahoney, Turpin, Fogarty, Croker
    S Crichton, Jones, Schuster, Walsh

    Orange = May play
    Red = Won't play

    Mahoney probably most likely to be traded, with Brailey/Fogarty/Moses as other possible trade outs all with high BEs. Keen to get your guys opinions.

    Also, not sure how to structure my CTR/WFB to make sure I get Teddy if he plays, but also have Crichton come in if he doesn't. Don't want to miss Crichton for Roberts if Teddy plays... I  can't right? The times don't line up.

    17 trades on hand so was planning to hit R17 pretty hard.

    Then can hold second trade or do S. Crichton to Manu. I get the feeling Manu will pretty much stay at 5/8 from now on but he could play FB this week if Teddy is rested and go massive against the Titans. Other is trade Brailey who has some kind of hand injury hampering him and bring in A. Reynolds as the next 6-7 weeks Souths have a very favourable draw.

    Any thoughts on this please lads?

    If I had the number of trades you have, I’d be trying to save some. Maybe just one trade this week.

    Tough week. Don't need to trade in reality, but CHN looks like a must have, but need a double trade to fuck Alvaro off. So many options, none of them much good. Still thinking Jones might be the best play even there's no round 17.

    Yeah I'm clutching but he looks solid this year.

    I wouldn’t bring him in - I say after starting the year with him and playing him way too many times - but now that he appears injury free you can see what a good player he is. Definitely better IRL than in fantasy. A real footy player who can play what’s in front of him. Not actually surprised he’s ended up ahead of Townsend.

    He was absolute trash until the week I sold him and then he had those good games.

    I'm not sure why everyone thinks CHN is a must. Still plays for a team in turmoil and could be one loss away from a bench spot or playing reserve grade. Last week he had a career high in tbs and a season low in missed tackles. That was the 2nd highest score of his career and highest without a try. We have seen the peak it's all down hill from here.

    We've said that since he got the role but he keeps starting and performing.  At 560K, seems like a decent enough guy to run for the year IMO. Good cheap round 17 options seem limited also.

    Perhaps with Morris gone and the club looking like he's in their plans with Nico, he's finally got some confidence back and performing to his potential. It's a crazy punt to trade him in though. Playing Panthers this week doesn't help his cause.

    Yeah, agreed. He was a great cow for those who jumped on him, but a must have? For a final 17 he's behind RyMatt, Fifi, Harris, TPJ, Crichton, Leilua, Murray and Schuster - and you only need 3 edges anway. At 560k with poor JS he's no bargain.

    That's a no from me dawg.

    That is true but he's in great form & with a -1 b/e it's probably now trade because he'll only get dearer. Also he'll play round 17 plus his ability for t/b's is right up there.

    I've owned him since the start and will probably be moving him on after round 17 to a more secure keeper like Fifita or Crichton. I think he will hover around the 45 mark while starting so probably doesn't have much value left

    that's right. Has the ability to palm and offload and rack up fantasy points too. Plus, team value sucks so grabbing someone sub 600K that MAY be good enough for a final 17, I don't see the hesitation. His price now, I can justify, over 600K I can't.

    The way you talked I never would have guessed that you own him. I feel however when you own a player you have different perspectives to when you don't own a player. It's one of those situations where you always want other players you don't have, just because you don't have them.

    I'll be riding him until the wheels fall off but I think he is ideally closer to 18th/19th man rather than keeper. Will be taking the cash he has made and run in round 18
