This is why I am holding faith in Starling for now. I think where there is smoke there is fire and Hodgson wants out fast! Bit rough on Turpin, guess Turps can play 7 at least.

I think Freddy's attitude has changed this year - I don't think he'd leave Liam Martin there just because he went OK when he could have a much better player/potential gamebreaker like Crichton in there. Martin isn't exactly a pivotal role that would change the dynamics of the team.

Tariq may keep the starting spot but I can't see Crichton missing out. He'll at least be on the bench.

Its kind of irrelevant imo. No selection for game 1 is tied to being selected for game 2 or 3.

Could come in for Martin, yeah. Wont start in game 2 though.

That game is in the past now. Suncorp is a tough venue and guys like Munster and Grant should be less underdone. Ponga will probably be back too.

Need to put our best 17 on the park and Crichton > Martin and Sims.

imo zero chance Crichton doesn’t get picked. could be for Sims or Murray in the starting side, or Martin on the bench, but either way he’ll be there.

Good point lads. Crichton is proven too in the big games. I guess Martin was lucky to be there in the first place.

Last time he played middle off the bench, but looked pretty good at it. However with AFB back playing 60(from next week I assume) and Tohu (80) there aren't many left

I cant recall a game where Tohu and Curran both started and Harris wasnt in the middle... might be wrong though. I just thought that Curran, when starting has been edge, and Tohu in the middle.

Just throwing this up while I have a min or two.

I'm trading Fog to SJ and Walker to Lolo. It feels dirty trading green dots but it is what it is.

Fog to SJ looks sideways as fuck but in my head I have this as an upgrade. I hate the Fog/Taylor mix (in real life and fantasy). I'm also ignoring that SJ is made of glass. I'll probably make the mistake of putting the (c) on him... I had a good think about Dearden and Reynolds for this trade as well. SJ being so handsome swayed it.

Walker to Lolo is an upgrade so I'm happy with that. Lolo could wait a week with his b/e but Walker will bleed heaps of cash. Fingers crossed I'm on Lolo for a big game vs Manly.

I think he’ll be the only change. Excluding injuries. There’s some paper talk this morning where Freddie basically says he’s the only player to consider.
