Tough one regarding trades. I'd definitely be tempted by Laurie to Verills and someone (Watson probably) to Harris.

Otherwise I'd consider playing Jones ahead of Burton via Peachey. It's a tough one because of Burton's high ceiling but playing centre has a low floor too.

Thanks mate. Yeah might play Jones, I liked the look of him. Burton was one I wasn't sure. Someone will be getting looped.

Yeah, I'll toss up the trades through the week. Thanks for your thought mate. Your trades look money.

Cheers pal, maybe I should give a name to each of the last 9 trades as they go..

Given Best is only worth 412k and I have Momo who is 489k, plus May not named this week, only centre is now Burton..
U reckon Momo or Best the priority trade ?
Thinking Best to Timoko (cashout plus coverage as long as he sticks around) and Momo to Harris.

Leaves centre a little precarious, but that seems the role description ultimately.

    Watson -> Harris
    Laurie -> SJ

    Koro
    Haas TPJ Crichton
    CHN Matterson
    Cleary SJ
    Bird Peachey
    Teddy Hynes Walsh

    Harris Brailey Fitzgibbon Moses

Fogarty Jones Simmo Burton 216k 10 trades.

Brings me to 5 for rd17 and the potential to bring in six more if I choose. There's no way I'm bringing more than that with 10 trades left, so I don't feel compelled to go any harder than that for the time being. Would rather wait and see which one of these guys puts up their hands for trading out over the next couple of weeks. It wouldn't fuss me if Teddy was out, wouldn't mind a way to loop positions 16,17,18,19 somehow.

Verrils can wait for next week I think. If I needed the cash I'd go this week though. He's a grand final winner, was clearly ahead in the pecking order prior to injuries. Robbo spoke on multiple occasions in preseason about Keighran being his bench specialist.

I've got the funds for something like Fitzgibbon to Cook. Would be a POD at the top. I'd love to try and jag a couple of ceiling games in the next two weeks. Don't want to leave myself short though if rd18 is a bit like rd14.

No interest in in Avo or not willing to spend that cash on him?

Could be some more middle minutes to go around for someone like SST if he gets another couple of weeks on top of his current suspension?

    Thinking this week

    Taumalolo - Averillo

    Team as is

    Brailey
    Crichton, TPJ, Haas
    Matto, Fifita
    Cleary, Moses
    Bird, Peachey
    Turbo, Teddy, Walsh

    Hynes, Harris, Taumalolo, Laurie

    Mahoney, Ramsey, Jones, Jet

My plan had been grabbing DCE but the buggers price has taken off. Could do it if I ditched Laurie and Matto.

Or just give up on Averillo and get DCE

Think I’ll get SST in this week. Hopefully it goes well

Wouldn’t have thought at the start of the year I could go Laurie to SST and also pocket some cash. Tempting

Yeah probably Best. He definitely out. Momo one injury away from coming back in next week, tough call. Timoko big gamble but I don't mind it. Unless you can use another trade to cash out to Verills and get Manu perhaps, but expensive and you'd probably break him anyway Very Happy And you'd probably want to use those funds elsewhere anyway.

Is Curran still a good pickup? Named at lock again, or is Siro who’ll play 80 for reasons the better punt for cheaper?

I still have Lolo on the trade-in list in the next couple of weeks. I know it must be frustrating to have paid top dollar and worn his scores so far, but there's several in your team I'd sell before a Round 17 fallen gun.

Outside of his 84 in 70 minutes that included a try, he's got a 50 and then his 4 other scores are under 40. He's gooooone for me. Doesn't look good on the eye test either. He carts the ball up and gets some metres just on his strength but isn't showing the speed and footwork we expect from him and there's a whole lot of standing around hands on hips not giving a fuck.
