It’s nearly getting to that time again and I’m beginning to panic!

On Matto - just don’t see him as a keeper? Been pretty underwhelming, don’t think he can bounce back?
Yeah very underwhelming, have been watching him closely and he's just not involved being on that right side. Could absolutely bounce back but it was between him and Watson to go and I actually feel more comfortable with a steady 50 from Watson (hopefully)

As long as Watson has that lock or interchange role he will continue to hit 50 IMO

Who would you leave out between Bird Manu Peachey? Thinking Peachey as Manu will be more involved at 5/8?

The forwards on the bench doesn’t look encouraging. He needs 50mins, if anything less than 50mins more chances he gets 40s

Matto is so close to getting the boot. He was one of my R13 guns to bring in. But my god he does sweet FA out on that right side

Allan and Okunbor back next round might mean Schoupp loses his spot?

Compared to expectations, yes, Matto has been underwhelming and so much of the Eels' attack goes left these days. But he's had a few tries bombed/disallowed if memory serves correctly, plus a few short games due to getting sin-binned and he's been the bi-weekly victim of the Carty Party, alternating with IPap. If there was ever a chance, this week is a good one for Matto to bounce back, especially with the Eels' current bench and against the Bulldogs on a Sunday arvo.
At least that's what I tell myself.

Possibly. He shouldn’t drop too much cash if he hits a 40 so I’ll hold him this week and see

I thought Verrills must have been starting and no HK on the bench or something. Surprised a bench HK with a lot of spud scores is so popular this week.

Price x relative job security =
Seriously though, I think most are expecting an ever expanding role over time

I'm in the market for a cheaper mid or edge. Took a look at SST / Tauk / TKO after the talk earlier and feeling quite underwhelmed (looked at 2017 onwards).
> pretty much since 2017 he's been consistently scoring at around 0.85ppm. [2019 only outlier at 0.95]
> this year he's at 0.86ppm, 50mpg and 43 average. [His ppm drops to 0.80 if you take out his GK from earlier this year which he has lost - which would make it his worst ppm in period I looked]
For him to average 50, I need to assume he's going to get a jump in minutes to about 59mpg.
He's only averaged 51mpg this year, and even with Rooster injuries it's been even less over last 5 weeks at 48mpg.
This year he's only played 3 games of more than 54mins. These were for 63, 63 and 79 minutes.
Seems a jump to assume he'll get back to near 60mpg??
[And as a random aside - about 1/3rd of his price drop this year is due to change in the magic number.]
TLDR: SST doesn't look a great option. What am I missing?

Are they tears?
Yeah if he can stay fit, then get fit, then start and be locked in for 60+ mins, he might go alright for Rd 17 I guess.

I wouldn’t mind taking a punt, but no real room for it to backfireWelshy wrote:Talakai with with big BE can wait can’t he, gives an extra week to see if they look at resting Graham longer term
