Anybody heard anything further on the WArriors this weekend? LAst I saw SOS was listed in Dolphins so likely Walsh halves and RTS FB, DWZ wing.

Any info appreciated, sitting with Nikora and RTS fighting over my #17 spot..

Play Moses and Fogarty over Jones and Fitzgibbon right? Similar floor but higher ceilings?

I'm looking at Roberts to Verills but this will leave no CTR cover on my bench. Do I care? Maybe I can pick up a cheap r17 later per the Mulvy plan^

$700k per year hole in Uncle Nick's budget (+$300k off-books-bonus).

Yep - can see Haas in Red/White/Blue in 2022. santa

I am also considering Roberts out. Would have no cover..

Probably pick up someone like Chambers for position #21 in round 17 if he isnt in the origin side.

Yeah that might be good enough, missed him. How come he didn't come up when I filtered break evens by rd17 and CTR?

I only watched the 2nd half only last night, but thought Souths were pretty average in the 2nd 40. They had zero discipline, just looked like a team that new they were too good for the opposition and tried to push the attack without laying a platform.

A more clinical side, like the two playing tonight at 755, would've scored 70.

A battling team that isn't completely demoralised, like the two playing at 600, would've scored a couple and made it interesting.

Ah, just fixed it. He was an 'inactive' player in my db when the bye round stuff was last updated.

Now don't get carried away... it's been 1 player in the 1st game of the round, plenty of opportunity for things to go pear shaped.

It does give me a bit of a buffer as I do not own Turbo or Fifita atm

    Hmm. Maybe Kosi then.

Guess it's just a guessing game as to why SOS was named for Dolphins as well as Warriors then

Chambers is an out and out GUN centre with 8 missed tackles last game.

You know after gaining 10k ranks the last 2 weeks (easy to do when you're as far back as me) you'd think I'd just swallow my pride and bring in Cleary this week to try keep up that positive momentum. But I'm nothing if not stupid and stubborn so fuck it, team "I can't see Cleary now the rain bye is gone". Who needs the top scoring player by a DCE neck, not this schmuck. WCGW.

Easy decision for mine. Unless Jones/Fitzgibbon get a try they probably aren't going over 50. Moses and Fogarty are both capable of bigger scores without going over themselves

In the short term it's okay as long as you have a long term plan. I've got no CTR cover for the next 2 weeks

    My exact plan tbh.

Roberts out this week for Aitken with Chambers to come in between origin 2 and 3 as emergency cover for the run home

Sorry, really should have made one of dem team trackers. My DCE option looks something like this. This week:

Matto, Watto, Laurie to Harris, SJ, DCE. Would rather have held Matto over say Fitzgibbon but short on $.

Next two rounds: Fitzgibbon, Jones, Fogarty, Hynes to Thompson/Lolo/Kapow, AFB, Verills, Centre cashout (<400k)

Post origin: CHN and Burton to Fifita and Mitchell/Turbo/Pappy/Ponga.

    Leaves three trades and:

    Koro
    Haas Thompson AFB
    Fifita TPJ
    Cleary DCE
    Bird Peachey
    Teddy Mitchell Walsh

    Harris Crichton Brailey SJ

    Moses Verills Simmo Centre

Might do a TPJ trade if he's gonna miss rd18 suspended. Essentially leaving less $ in the NPRs than previous plans but still a solid/balanced squad I think. No Averillo either, will just have to hope he calms down a bit. I quite like it and unlike previous plans the $ shouldn't be a problem, previous plans were a bit iffy.

Ill preface my comments by saying, i dont know what better options are available. I hate your front row. Thompson and AFB no guarntee of 50s each week, Haas not scoring as well as everyone had hoped. RD17 scorers is the bonus, at the expense of a few trades.

Id sooner have Avo over Peachy (particularly with rd17 scoring) and Pappy over Latrell (assuming he ever plays again, i was tossing up between the two and am waiting till after origin).
