I'm also going to add my voice to the "Walsh is going to get broken in half playing Origin" crowd.
He was almost broken in half playing against the Knights on the weekend.
Amazing talent but I think Brown was right saying he's going to need some careful management - don't think he should be playing over the rep weekend at all.

Re: NRL Fantasy 2021 Part 69 - Nice
Putting Walsh in is pure desperation by QLD. I don't see how that will get the result and it won't matter unless we fix up our horrible defence. He will be heavily targeted and being so young, he's still a boy playing in a man's game. Having that fearless attitude is great but that's because he's of the next generation coming through, they are all like that, but that also may cause him to get unstuck and found out heavily in the Origin arena. He's arrogant and may get put in his place. Great way to learn I suppose but it seems a bit of a silly play. I'm not expecting him to play for the Warriors in round 16 or 17 at this stage.
I also have a theory too that Ponga won't play Origin at all. I have no doubt he is injured as he's not playing for the Knights but since Paul Green is the coach, I wouldn't be surprised if he's a bit salty and may have something to do with it. The whole going up to camp putting his recovery back and he never wanted to go in the first place was a bit weird. Nothing to base that on other than Green not resigning him at the Cows.

Cleary will bomb to Walsh on the first set of the game and they will smash him as he catches the ball.
Walsh is a star but he's such a small body still, they are going to belt him every time he comes near the ball.
I'll take the same game multi on Sims and Walsh not seeing out the full game, lol

Walsh is about the same size as Billy Slater was....but he is a couple of years younger and vastly less experienced than Slater was when he made his Origin debut (on the wing). I predict a mixed night for the young fella, some good stuff, some challenging stuff.
He should probably have been left alone for a year.

Re: NRL Fantasy 2021 Part 69 - Nice
Well 1152 for the week for me. I thought I’d see a big rank rise but I jumped up a bit which is great.
Stoked Moses has found some form again and his kick metres were well up yesterday. Tommy T is a freak glad I have him. With Schuster and A. Kelly out Haumole came in and that late try boosted his score, I was stoked with his 40.
Rank has gone up from 4266 to 3811.
I only have 8 trades left though. With Walsh looking like being rested I’ll have to hope Hynes starts again in round 16 but the thing is Hynes will start losing money. Suaali is my other cover but may not play.

Re: NRL Fantasy 2021 Part 69 - Nice
Brailey 36 was my biggest disappointment. I might just have to hold at this stage as only 8 trades and not much itb.
Also getting in D. Fifita is gonna be hard. I have to wait til A. Kelly or Haumole make enough money, cash them out and then do an upgrade to get him. Will maybe have him round 19 but most likely round 20.
I lost 6 more points on Jax though he scored 1158 and had Bunt, Hughes and Barnett go very big. So I’m 324 points behind him and 2900 ranks which is not ideal.

Jayden Brailey down down down charts:
% of Team Tackles (Adjusted for Minutes)
Run Metres / game (label is Run Metres per Receipt * 10)

Rough week. My team scored (insert +1000 score) and dropped (insert figure in the hundreds) places. Fucking (insert player/s who you owned and scored sub-optimally). Wishing I'd traded (player/s who you were close to trading but held fire on). Really hurts not having (insert high-ownership player/s you've been holding off trading in, hoping for a price drop, or stubbornly refusing to get). And now I've got to deal with (insert player/s who is injured/suspended/gone to shit).
I don't like this game very much any more.

Story of my life. I thought I would be ok with Lodge (79), Ipap (73), Moses (87), Tohu (76), and captain Cleary (107).
tough crowd, Lucy the only real concern. I was surprised to lose over 300 spots

Cleary scores updated so will be open soon. Then only 9 days until team lists. Not sure how I'll fill the void this week.

Trades might be premium the next 3 rounds. May see a couple rested for round 16 but come round 18, if it's anything like round 14, the 2 trades that week will be handy. For 3 rounds, that's 8 potential trades that can be used. Can see a lot of teams going into round 19 with only 1 or 2 trades if they hit round 17 hard.

I'm tempted to jump on JMK this week as a rd17 POD. 80mins/60+pts last 2 rounds

he may be a good Brailey replacement
- Spoiler:
Yeah, I don't mind the punt, he's definitely an early contender for a trade in. Looks like he's locked in for 80 too.

He'll probably avg about 50 points, and could be a good EMG

Just got back on-line after a w/e in the no internet bush.
Checked my team and was shocked to see the Bludgers achieved their first ever 1100+ score.
1189 and gained about 1000 ranks (just over 4000 now).
Congrats to everyone on here who scored well and commiserations to anyone whose team decided to shit the bed.
Chin up, you can pull this back.
