Caught up - watched all the kayo minis for yesterday games.

Surely someone should have the job to make sure teams playing each other both don’t wear white? Would take 5 mins a week?

Not sure on grabbing Ponga now but Fog will be a straight swap and can move Hynes to the halves. Tempting.

Will miss the games today because I am working. I work in insurance so I will be flat out for days with all the flooding going on. Usually missing Warrior games is better for my stress levels but I hope they can pull something out today.

J Brailey continues to be frustrating. Has been posting sub-50 scores for 6 of the last 7 weeks, but has lost so much money and isn’t scoring low enough for me to consider him an immediate sell. Have the feeling he’ll just hang around my squad all year.

757 with Walsh, Jackson, Thompson and Burton to play.... reasonably happy! Also still alive in the NRL.com streak game - picked the rabbits this week, should be safe you'd think....

Apparently in the rush to get packed and into the hub the home kit was forgotten. Not sure if I believe but that's the excuse I heard.

    578 +

    AFB
    Walsh
    Burton
    Haas
    Gamble
    Doueihi
    Reynolds

Very poddy run for me today. Haas at 41%, Burton at 44% and Walsh at 95% are the highest owner players I have. All others <15% owned in the top 5000.
Big games from Reynolds, Gamble, Douehi and AFB could see me fly up the rankings. Fingers crossed!

I can trade him out if I want to but I feel like there'll always be a bigger problem and he'll hang around all year.

Do they line up like that you think? Pretty insane reshuffle there. I bought Egan last week and was pretty happy till Niko ended up on the bench.

    Re JBrailey:

At start of year the consensus seemed to be he was a good cash cow and might average mid to high 40's. 50 at a pinch.

When he was rocking a 65+ average after the first 10 matches I thought "we were wrong and he's a new super gun".

But maybe I should have thought "we were right, he's just having a purple patch".

Was thinking similar last night JM. I went sideways with him to Egan in the Bye Round, only did it for Bye points and slight upgrade on recent form. But he is the one guy I didn't feel comfortable Bye trading. He was on 35 or something early in the second half from memory?

Par Score for the Top 1000 is 671. (This score is the sum of points for first 17 listed "playing" players for each team, it should be reasonably accurate, some looping might make this a bit low, but should be more accurate than just counting the first 17 players.)

An average of 12 players used.

96% of teams have used their captain.

1 team broke my code because they have Trbo and DCE as their C and VC.

Here's a chart, you can use it to tell if you are above or below par for the amount of players you have used. If you are above the blue line for your players used count, congratulations you are above par (for the moment!).

I love your contribution to the forum @ynot
You get my vote for poster of the year.
I started the round at rank 912, but dropped back to 1743 with 8 players still to play (+79 from Walker), nice to see I'm sitting slightly above par on you graph.
Fingers crossed my remaining players don't stink it up

Similar, but I think I'm even PODdier today:

    Egan
    Jackson
    Gamble
    Lhompson
    AReyn

Walsh and Avo to come as well.

We are going to be very happy or very sad by the end of the day.

I don't understand why AOB is sticking with bringing Watson on at the 20 mins mark especially against a team like the Storm. They were 18 points behind already by the time he came on.

Unfortunately Watson can't shake the utility tag because he can play multiple positions well so off the bench as a utility is probably what's best for the team.
