As someone of advanced age I can safely say that 95% people I know who got married in their 20s are no longer in that marriage when they turn 40.

Not sure why young footballers in their early-mid twenties, who clearly want to get as much 'action' as they can, would tie the knot.
Having just hit the Big 5-0, and being married to the same (absolutely amazing) woman for 24 years, I just don't understand what these plonkers are thinking. Surely they can't assume the girls they're having fun on the side with won't talk??
If you get married, make it work is what I always say. Don't be a dick. Show your wife the respect she deserves.
It's a win-win in the long run.
