One of the most disgraceful losses I've seen as a Wests fan in years... and we've had some shockers

I was talking about real-life where people were tipping them for the 8, or even 9th. Douehi is a strong runner and a ballhog and will score well regardless.

Funny i felt the same way about the Broncos two weeks ago, when we lost to the Tigers haha
Speaking of.. how does this player jinx thing work again?... Broncos will never win anoyher game with Croft at half... is that right?

Is Demetriou really that well regarded? Have any other clubs ever chased him for a head coach role?
With their left side attack missing two key players and a rookie head coach, not sure Souths are going to be the dominant side they have been for several years.
Aside from Robinson winning the minor prem with the chooks, I can't remember any other rookie head coaches finishing high on the ladder. Anyone?
how quickly we all forget Seibold's one year at the Bunnies ...
I don't think its cap issues that are impacting Souths, as much as an unwillingness to sign older players on multi-year deals (Reynolds and Gagai) and an assessment that Su'a's form didn't warrant an upgrade. Given we've lost all three of them, right now the planning is not looking so hot.
If it is the cap, then look no further than signing Jacob Host and Liam Knight on multi-year deals

Well if you offered me 92 from Aitken and Laurie before the game I would have reluctantly taken it

This was my concern. I think Douehi will continue to score well if he keeps his spot. Madge will be feral though.

That probably is right, but not in the way you want it to be.

Yeah anyone tipping them for the 8 doesn't know Tigers. Even 9th is more of a hopeful joke from our history of finishing there.

I don't think you need to worry about those shenanigans. You just need to write it.

I'm thinking this way with 35 each from Manu and Laurie...... kind of levels things a little.

I would really like one of Tolo's 60 point games as opposed to one of his 30 point games.

Ah mate, I was thinking of you when Aitken scored. I checked the top 5000 had one owner, assume it's you. Didn't realise you still had Laurie as well.

Blore played 80, scored 54 while being quiet. Should still be 228 next week because of a high BE. Probably the best cash out option if he keeps his spot. Who knows with Madge?

No NAS still, and Kamikamica presumably rested not dropped (he's played every game this season). Those two probably on a full-strength bench along with Grant and Papy/Hynes but getting more minutes than this week's bench forwards.
