I can't see Ipap playing under 60 mins this weekend - not sure what his positional rotation will be but this is a huge game for Parramatta and therefore will need him out there. At prop he is basically guaranteed juicy run meters and tackles, should also have some tackle busts as per usual.

It's between him and Haas for my captain and I'm leaning towards Ipap currently.

Yeah I don't mind the punt on IPap over Haas. Averaging 71 in games over 60 mins, which is most of them, but only 48 in games under. If you're confident in the minutes, go for it.

Manly's defence hasn't been stellar, but did put in some effort last week vs. Storm. Can see it being a high scoring affair vs. Eels.

Yeah, to be honest I didn't even consider Ipap as a real captaincy option this week cause he was named at prop, but after actually having a proper look at the team I realised the bench isn't bad at all and should mean fairly good minutes for him.

People need to be aware he can re injure it and make it worse and his chance of re injury/aggravation is probs a bit higher than the chances of Mahoney who re injured his.

Bro everyone here would know the risk of him reinjuring his shoulder. Him and Mahoney are different, Mahoney has to make 50 tackles a week in the ruck, requiring his shoulder much much more than Cleary will. Also, the way Mahoney did his shoulder was falling off a tackle where his shoulder went above his arm when he hit the surface so it was kind of a freak accident.

In 55 mins he will also be on 75 points, which is a bad week for Cleary's standards

If Cleary survives the 24hr cull, I'm bringing in and captaining. If not, I'm captaining Douehi. I was reluctant to given he's Hlf and Wfb cover, but I'm down to 17 and cover is irrelevant.

With the Peachey now on the bench and the potential to score 0 - 35 points most weekd vs the consistent Blore who should average 40+. I feel like playing Blore over Peachey is way more beneficial than what Friz/Ponga may outscore Bird/Aitken by

Not sure what the voting was when it went dark, but hard to see him being in contention with this many games missed. He only missed 2 out of 20 last season and some other guy won.

Anyone can be injured at any time. Maybe Cleary has more risk now, with his shoulder. Like Turbo and his dodgy hammy I guess.

Cleary averages 90+

There is no point both having him yet not captaining him IMO. Like I think skipping him altogether makes more sense than owning a 1.2m player without the (c) attached

Cleary isn't even one you think twice about imo, throw the C on him and forget about it

His last 5 scores in case anyone forgot: 88, 144, 115, 72 (70mins), 107. Low score of the season is 61. Playing in a game that he will win comfortably and get plenty of attacking stats because he touches the ball a billion times a game. No way you turn your nose up at that because he might get an early mark. I would doubt he would have a lack of involvement either because if the rumour is he was right to go 2 weeks ago, he'd be so keen to rip in

Honestly my only concern is Fuimaono trying to assassinate him 10 minutes in like he did with Paps but that's out of my control lol
